Well now, let me tell ya about this young fella, Landon Jackson, playin’ football down there at Arkansas. He’s got some long arms and a mighty big frame, standin’ at 6 foot 7. Now, I ain’t no expert on all them fancy numbers and drills, but folks seem to think this boy’s got what it takes to go far in the NFL. That’s right, the big leagues. Ain’t no small feat, I tell ya. Folks around here are talkin’ about him, sayin’ he’s somethin’ special.
Now, if you look at his college stats and his playin’, you’ll see that Landon’s been a real menace for the other teams. He’s a defensive player, they call him EDGE. What that means is he’s the one who’s chasin’ down the quarterback, tryin’ to sack ‘em before they get the ball to the receiver. I tell ya, you need to have some real speed and strength for that job, and that’s where Landon comes in. He’s built like a brick wall and moves like a much smaller fella, real nimble-like for his size.
Back in October of 2024, some folks from ESPN were talkin’ about how he’s got “serious length”—that’s code for bein’ tall and strong, I reckon. And even though he’s tall, he don’t seem to slow down none. That’s somethin’ that makes a big difference when you’re up against those fast quarterbacks. His height and reach give him an advantage when he’s reachin’ out to grab the ball or knock down them passes.
What makes Landon stand out even more is how well he moves on the field. It’s one thing to be tall, but it’s another to be quick and agile. And that boy, he’s quick. He don’t just stand there lookin’ all stiff, he knows how to move his legs and keep up with the action. They say he’s got a good motor, always movin’ and never quittin’. That’s what gets him noticed by all them scouts, you see.
Now, Landon ain’t perfect, no, but who is? He’s still learnin’, still growin’, and he’s got plenty of potential. He’s only a senior at Arkansas, so there’s time for him to work on his weaknesses. Folks who know a lot more about football than me say that he’s got the tools to be a starter in the NFL for years to come. I reckon if he keeps workin’ hard, he’ll get drafted in the next NFL draft—could be as high as the first round, if he keeps it up.
And I gotta tell ya, they’ve got him listed as the number 45 prospect on PFF’s Big Board for the 2025 NFL Draft. Ain’t too shabby! And with his final games comin’ up, he’s got a real chance to show folks what he’s made of. If he keeps impressin’ like he has been, we might be seein’ him in the big leagues sooner than we think.
All this talk about his draft chances, and folks are sayin’ he’s gonna be a force in the NFL for years to come. I don’t know much about the draft, but it sounds like Landon Jackson’s got a good shot at makin’ a name for himself. Ain’t every day you see a young man with that kinda talent, and I reckon we’ll be hearin’ his name for a long time.
Well, that’s all I got to say about this boy from Arkansas. If you’re a football fan, keep your eyes on him—Landon Jackson just might be the next big thing in the NFL. Time will tell, but it sure looks like he’s got a bright future ahead of him!
