Well now, you know, there’s a big ol’ golf thing happenin’ down at Myrtle Beach, and it’s called the Myrtle Beach Classic. A lotta folks been talkin’ about it, especially the tee times for Saturday. Now, Saturday, May 11th, 2024, is the big day for the third round. The golfers will be out there bright and early, so if you’re plannin’ to watch, you’d best be settin’ your alarm clock early too. You don’t wanna miss a thing!
The first tee time for Saturday is at 6:50 AM sharp. That’s when folks like Thorbjorn Olesen will be teein’ off. You don’t get to see golfers like him every day, so you better be ready. If you’re headin’ down to the Dunes Golf and Beach Club, make sure you get there early, ’cause the crowds sure are gonna be thick with folks tryin’ to get a good spot to watch.
If you’re wonderin’ about how to watch the action from home, well, it’s easy. The Golf Channel’s gonna be showin’ the whole thing. The coverage starts early in the morning, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern Time. That’s for the live broadcast, so you can sit back, relax, and watch these fellas hit their balls all around the course. Come afternoon, the coverage comes back on from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and by then, you’ll be seein’ some of the best players goin’ head to head. There’s plenty to see, that’s for sure!
Now, I reckon you’re wonderin’ who’s lookin’ like they might win this thing. Well, Ben Griffin’s the favorite, though you’d be a fool to count out Erik Van Rooyen and Daniel Berger. It’s a tight field, so don’t be surprised if the underdogs pull a fast one. A lotta folks been buzzin’ about them three, but hey, it could go any way—just like how we used to bet on chickens back home, you never know ’til it happens.
And don’t forget, if you’re headin’ to the course, they got complimentary shuttles to get you there and back. They’ll be runnin’ ’til 8:00 PM that day, so no worries about how to get there if you don’t feel like walkin’ in the heat.
If you’re a real golf fan, you’ll be wantin’ to catch the action on the Golf Channel. They’ll be showin’ all the rounds, from Thursday right through to Sunday. And when it gets down to Saturday, it’s when the action really heats up. Them players been workin’ all week to get to the third round, and you can bet they’re gonna be givin’ it their all.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good time this Saturday, May 11th, Myrtle Beach is the place to be. Whether you’re watchin’ from home or makin’ the trip, you’ll be in for a treat. Just don’t forget to grab yourself a cold drink and maybe a sandwich, ‘cause you’ll be watchin’ for a good while. Golf’s a slow game, but it sure is exciting when it gets down to the nitty-gritty.
