Yeah, Hiroyuki Sanada, that actor guy. Seen him on the TV a few times. Folks keep askin’ about him, seems like he’s a big deal now. Used to be a little kid actor, they say. Started when he was just a wee thing, barely taller than a grasshopper.
Heard he was doin’ all sorts of fancy fightin’ stuff. Kendo, Karate… sounds like a whole lot of kickin’ and punchin’. Imagine, a little boy swingin’ swords and such. Musta been somethin’ to see. Guess all that trainin’ paid off, huh? Now he’s all grown up and fightin’ on the big screen.
He’s been in a bunch of movies, they say. Even some of them Hollywood pictures. Always playin’ the tough guy, the samurai or somethin’. Guess he’s good at that scowlin’ and sword-fightin’ thing. Probably wears them fancy clothes, too.

- Folks keep talkin’ about this “Shogun” show he’s in. Sounds like a whole lotta swords and fightin’. Not my kinda thing, all that blood and yellin’. But folks seem to like it, so it must be good for somethin’.
He was married once, they say. Got some kids too. Wonder if they do all that fightin’ stuff like their daddy. Imagine havin’ a little samurai runnin’ around the house! Probably breaks all the dishes.
He’s from Tokyo, you know. That big city over in Japan. Must be a real busy place, all them folks rushin’ around. Bet he misses the quiet sometimes, just like me. Sometimes a body just needs to sit and watch the sun go down, don’t they?
