Alright, let’s talk about this blue and yellow football stuff. You know, them colors, they’re everywhere in football. Like, lots of teams use blue and yellow, or some kind of gold-ish color with blue. It ain’t just one or two teams, it’s a whole bunch of ’em.
Now, I heard tell of a team called Leeds United. They’re all about the blue and yellow, real strong. Blue and yellow, that’s their thing. They’re from some place called West Yorkshire, way over there. And them folks over there, they really get into it. Seems like every team got a rival, and for Leeds, it’s Manchester United. Big deal, them rivalries.
Then there’s this Notre Dame team, they call ‘em the Fighting Irish. They got that gold and blue too. Fancy folks over at Nike, they make the clothes for these teams, you know, the jerseys and stuff. They say they do all sorts of testing to make sure the colors look good and the clothes work right. Sounds like a lot of fuss to me, but I guess it matters to them city folk.
And it ain’t just them college teams, you know. The big boys, the NFL, they got all sorts of colors too. Thirty-two teams, and seems like half of ’em got some kinda blue or yellow in their getup. They got these codes, numbers and letters, to tell ya exactly what shade of blue or yellow it is. Hex codes, RGB, CMYK… sounds like gibberish to me, but them fancy designers, they use that stuff.
I reckon it’s ‘cause blue and yellow, they just go together good. Like sunshine and the sky, you know? It catches your eye. Makes you wanna watch the game, even if you don’t know nothin’ ’bout football. I seen some games on the TV, all them colors flashin’ around, it’s somethin’ else.
- Blue: Some blues are light, some are dark, some are almost purple. But they all blue, in the end.
- Yellow: Same with yellow. Sometimes it’s bright like a lemon, sometimes it’s more gold, like a shiny coin.
- Combinations: Some teams got mostly blue, with a little yellow. Some got mostly yellow, with a little blue. Some got ‘em mixed up all fancy-like.
I don’t understand all them fancy codes, but I know what I like. And I reckon blue and yellow, they look good on them football players. Makes ’em stand out, you know? Makes it easy to tell which team is which, even from way up in the stands. Or on the TV, like I said.
This NFL thing, it’s a big deal, I hear. All over the country, folks are watchin’ these games. And them team colors, they’re a big part of it. You see a fella wearin’ a blue and yellow jersey, you know who he’s rootin’ for. It’s like a flag, showin’ your colors.
And it ain’t just football, neither. I heard tell there’s basketball teams with blue and yellow too. Seems like everybody wants a piece of that color action. Guess it just works, you know? Makes people feel somethin’. Makes ‘em excited, makes ‘em wanna cheer.
So, yeah, blue and yellow football. It’s a thing. A big thing, seems like. And whether you’re watchin’ them college boys, or the NFL fellas, or even them basketball players, you can’t miss them colors. They’re everywhere. And I reckon that’s just fine. Adds a little somethin’ to the game, don’t it? Makes it more fun to watch.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Blue and yellow. Football. It’s a good thing. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got some chores to do. Can’t be sittin’ around talkin’ ’bout colors all day.
