Alright, so you wanna know about this fella, Khamzat Chimaev, and what he believes in, right? Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I know. This boy, they call him “Borz,” which I guess means somethin’ fierce like a wolf or somethin’. He’s a fighter, you know, one of them cage fightin’ fellas. Beats people up for a livin’, kinda like them wrasslers on TV, but way more rough.
Now, from what I hear, this Khamzat, he’s a Muslim. Yeah, one of them folks who pray to Allah, or somethin’ like that. He’s real serious about it too, they say. Prays and all that. It’s like how we go to church on Sundays, I reckon, but they do it different. He ain’t from around here, that’s for sure. Heard tell he’s from some place called Chechnya, over in Russia way. But he lives in Sweden now, been there since he was a young fella, ’bout 18 or 19 years old.
Why’d he leave, you ask? Well, his brother was already there, workin’ and all. Got Khamzat into wrestlin’, which is how he got into this cage fightin’ business, I guess. He got good at it too, won a bunch of championships in Sweden. Now he’s fightin’ in somethin’ called the UFC, which is like the big leagues of cage fightin’. He’s real tough, this fella, beats most folks he fights.
- He’s from Chechnya, Russia.
- Lives in Sweden now.
- Big time cage fighter in the UFC.
- And yeah, he’s a Muslim, a real devout one.
Folks say he’s like that other fella, Conor McGregor, but Muslim, so they call him the “Muslim Conor McGregor.” I don’t know much about this McGregor fella, but I reckon he’s a big deal in this fightin’ world. Khamzat, he’s climbin’ up the ranks, tryin’ to be the best, I guess. He’s already number four in his weight class, whatever that means.
He had some trouble lately, though, got sick real bad. Tried to keep fightin’ but the doctors wouldn’t let him. Said he had to go home and rest, stay outta the gym. That fightin’ life ain’t easy, I tell ya. Breakin’ bones and gettin’ punched in the head, it ain’t for the faint of heart. But this Khamzat, he seems tough as nails, so I reckon he’ll be back at it soon enough.
They say he ain’t related to that other fella, Khabib Nurmagomedov, even though they both from that Russia way. Khabib, he’s from a place called Dagestan, and Khamzat’s from Chechnya. Close by, but not the same, kinda like how we got different towns around here. Anyways, both them fellas are good at fightin’ and they’re both Muslims. Seems like they take their religion real serious.
So, yeah, that’s what I know about Khamzat Chimaev’s religion. He’s a Muslim, a real serious one, and he’s a fighter. Comes from Russia, lives in Sweden, and beats people up for a livin’. That’s about the long and short of it, as far as I can tell. Hope that helps ya understand this fella a little better. He’s a complicated one, all this fightin’ and prayin’, but I reckon he’s just tryin’ to make his way in the world, just like the rest of us.
Heard some folks say he can be a bit wild sometimes, you know, gets into trouble outside the cage too. But I ain’t here to gossip. Just tellin’ ya what I know about his religion and his fightin’. It’s a tough world out there, and he’s gotta do what he’s gotta do to survive, I reckon. Prayin’ to Allah and fightin’ in the cage, that’s his way, I guess.
Now you leave me be, I got chores to do. Can’t be sittin’ here all day talkin’ about cage fighters and their religion. Got chickens to feed and a garden to tend to. But you remember what I told ya, this Khamzat, he’s a Muslim, a fighter, and a tough fella. That’s all ya need to know.
