Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this Tanukana thing. I ain’t no fancy writer or nothin’, just a regular person, so I’ll tell it to ya straight.
This whole mess started on February 15th, see. That’s when this Tanukana gal, some kinda Tekken game whiz, went and said somethin’ real dumb on one of them live stream thingamajigs. Folks call it Twitch, I think. I don’t know much about them computer games, but it sounds like a big deal to some folks.
Anyways, she was yappin’ away, and outta nowhere, she starts talkin’ ’bout short men. And not in a nice way, mind you. Naw, she was bein’ real mean, sayin’ somethin’ ’bout how short men don’t got no human rights. Can ya believe that? Human rights! Sounds like serious stuff to me.
Now, I heard some folks tryin’ to make excuses for her, sayin’ that “human rights” ain’t what she really meant. They say it’s some kinda slang over in Japan where she’s from. But I tell ya, callin’ someone out for bein’ short and then throwin’ around words like “human rights” just ain’t right, no matter how ya slice it.
- She said it on a livestream, for all the world to see.
- Folks got real mad, and I don’t blame ’em.
- She had to go and apologize, but the damage was done.
This Tanukana girl, she played for some fancy team called Cyclops Athletic Gaming, or somethin’ like that. Well, they didn’t take too kindly to her runnin’ her mouth like that. And let me tell ya, they showed her the door real quick. Terminated, they called it. Means she’s out of a job, far as I can tell.
Serves her right, if ya ask me. You can’t just go around sayin’ awful things about people, especially not on the internet where everyone can hear it. My grandpappy always told me, “If you ain’t got nothin’ nice to say, don’t say nothin’ at all.” Seems like this Tanukana gal needed to hear that a time or two.
This whole thing happened back in 2016, near November, I think. No, wait, that ain’t right. Seems like it was later than that, maybe this year or last. These dates, they all jumble up in my head. Anyways, the point is, people still talkin’ about it. That just shows ya, words can have a real sting, and they can stick around longer than you think.
And lemme tell ya somethin’ else. It don’t matter if you’re some fancy game player or just a regular Joe like me, treatin’ people with respect is what matters. This girl, she forgot that, and it cost her. Maybe she’ll learn her lesson, maybe she won’t. But one thing’s for sure, folks ain’t gonna forget what she said anytime soon. It’s all over the internet, they say, Twitter and such. I don’t mess with that stuff myself, but my nephew told me all about it.
So there ya have it. That’s the story of this Tanukana mess, as best as I can tell it. A whole lotta fuss over some mean words, and a good reminder to think before you speak. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits in the oven. They’re more important than any of this internet drama, that’s for sure.
