Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this here… best pitchin’ camera in that there MLB The Show 24 game. My grandson, he’s always fiddlin’ with that thing, so I kinda picked up a thing or two watchin’ him.
Now, first things first, you gotta find a camera that lets you see what’s goin’ on. Some of them cameras, they’re just plain silly. You can’t see nothin’! It’s like tryin’ to find a needle in a haystack, but the haystack’s movin’ and throwin’ fastballs.
Seein’ the Whole Field
My boy, he likes that “Fish Eye 1” and “Fish Eye 2” sometimes. Says it gives him a good look at the whole field. And that “Catcher High” and “Catcher Wide,” those ain’t bad neither. You can see where your fellas are standin’ and where that batter’s gonna hit the ball, maybe. I tell ya, seein’ the whole field is important, like knowin’ where your chickens are in the yard.
- Fish Eye 1 & 2: Good for seein’ the whole field, like lookin’ out from your porch.
- Catcher High & Wide: Gives you a good view of the batter and the field, kinda like watchin’ from the stands, but closer.
But some of them other cameras, they’re just too jumpy. They move around too much. It’s like tryin’ to chase a squirrel up a tree. You get dizzy just watchin’ it. And if you can’t see what’s happenin’, how you gonna throw a good pitch? That’s just common sense, ain’t it?
The Best Pitching View
Now, they say findin’ the best pitchin’ view is real important if you wanna get good at this game. It’s like findin’ the right spot to plant your tomatoes – gotta have good sun and good soil. Same thing with pitchin’. Gotta have a good view to throw good pitches.
Some folks, they like that “Pulse” and “Classic” pitchin’. My grandson says it’s more real, like how real pitchers throw. You gotta use your skill and your pitcher’s muscles, not just wiggle your thumbs fast. It’s like choppin’ wood – gotta have the right swing and the right strength.
And then there’s that “Pinpoint” and “Analog” stuff. My boy says that’s more like a game, not real pitchin’. You can take some scrub pitcher and make him look like a star. That ain’t right. It’s like puttin’ fancy clothes on a pig – still a pig underneath.
Playin’ the Game Right
Now, listen here, this “Competitive” mode, that’s the way to play, they say. It’s how everyone plays online, so you might as well get used to it. It’s like learnin’ to drive a stick shift – harder at first, but better in the long run.
And when it comes to hittin’, that “Zone” hittin’ is the best, they say. Gives you more control, like holdin’ the reins of a horse yourself instead of just lettin’ it run wild. My grandson he gripes a lot when he don’t hit good using zone, always blames the game.
My Two Cents
So, what’s the best pitchin’ camera? Well, it’s the one that lets you see what’s goin’ on and throw good pitches. For my money, somethin’ that shows the whole field is good, but not too jumpy. And don’t be relyin’ on those fancy arcade controls, learn to pitch like a real pitcher, just like you wouldn’t take no shortcuts in the garden. And for goodness sake find a camera and stick with it, you can’t hit nothin’ if you keep changin’ things around all the time!
And remember, it don’t matter how fancy your camera is if you don’t know how to pitch. Gotta practice, gotta learn, and gotta have a good eye. Just like bakin’ a good pie – gotta have the right ingredients and the right touch.
Now, go on and play your game. And don’t forget to take out the trash when you’re done!
