Alright, listen up, y’all! Tonight’s WWE Raw, it’s gonna be somethin’ else, I tell ya. They taped it early over in that sand place, Riyadh, somethin’ somethin’ Arena. Heard folks chatterin’ ’bout it already.
So, what’s gonna happen? Well, ain’t nobody told me straight out, but you know how it is, whispers here and there. Gonna be some wrestlin’, that’s for sure. Big fellas slappin’ each other around, the usual. Heard it’s gonna be one of them “exciting” nights, whatever that means. Probably some surprises, maybe somebody turnin’ on somebody else, just like that time… what was their names? Oh, them fellas, Big E and Kofi and that other one… yeah, they turned on each other, made me so mad I almost threw my shoe at the TV!
This Raw thing, it’s a big deal, you know? Folks watch it every Monday night, or maybe it’s taped, I dunno. It’s on that USA Network thingy. My grandson, he says it’s the most watched show on Friday nights, even though it’s called Monday Night Raw, go figure. Those city folks and their fancy names! They even show it over in England and that other place, Ireland, on somethin’ called TNT Sports. Started way back when, 1993 they say. Been goin’ on longer than my bad knee, that’s for sure!
Now, don’t go expectin’ me to know all the fancy moves and names. I just watch ’em fight. See who gets pinned, who gets the belt. That’s all that matters, right? Who’s the strongest, who wins. It’s like that rooster we had back on the farm, always struttin’ around, peckin’ at the others. Same thing, just with bigger fellas in tights.
- Heard there might be some new fella showin’ up. Always bringin’ in new meat, keepin’ things interesting, I guess.
- And probably some of them old-timers too, the ones everybody knows. They like to bring them back for the big shows. Gets the crowd all riled up.
- And the talkin’! Oh, they do go on and on, don’t they? Blah blah blah, callin’ each other names. Just get to the fightin’ already!
But you know, that’s what makes it fun. The yellin’, the cheatin’, the drama. It’s like a soap opera, but with more muscles and less cryin’. Except for that time Big E got betrayed, that was sad, even I gotta admit. Made me want to give him a good hug and a plate of cookies.
So, tune in tonight, or whenever it’s on. Grab yourself a snack, maybe some of them chips, and get ready for a good ol’ rasslin’ match. Don’t matter if you know all the fancy stuff, just enjoy the show. And if somebody asks you what happened, you just tell ‘em, “Them fellas fought, somebody won, and it was a whole lotta noise!” That’s all you need to know.
And remember, it’s all supposed to be fun, even when they’re bein’ mean to each other. It’s just a show, like them plays they put on in the town square, just with more…body slams. And if you don’t like it, well, you can always change the channel. But me? I’m gonna watch. Got nothin’ better to do on a Monday night, or whenever they decide to show it.
This Raw, it’s on July 22, 2024, they say. Mark your calendars, if you’re into that kinda thing. Me, I just remember by when the chickens start layin’ less eggs, that’s how I keep track of the days. But you city folks with your fancy calendars, you go ahead and use ‘em.
Anyway, that’s the scoop, as best as I can tell ya. Don’t expect no fancy analysis from me. Just a whole lotta wrestlin’, some yellin’, and probably a surprise or two. That’s WWE Raw for ya. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go find my glasses, can’t see a darn thing without ’em, and I don’t wanna miss a single punch!
