Alright, so listen up, y’all. This here Starfield game, it’s got this thing called Operation Starseed, see? And this fella Tobias, he’s part of it. Now, don’t get your britches in a twist, it ain’t as complicated as city folk make it out to be.
First off, you gotta get yourself to Charybdis III. Sounds fancy, I know, but it’s just a planet, like our Earth, but different. They got robots and all sorts of craziness there. You land your spaceship, and they tell you to go talk to this Tobias fella.
Now, Tobias, he ain’t a bad sort, but he wants things. Specifically, he wants 150 copper. Copper, mind you, not nothin’ else. And he wants it in your pockets, not stashed away on your ship. I reckon he’s like my grandson, always wantin’ somethin’ or other.
Some folks say givin’ Tobias the copper ain’t a big deal. They say it just gets you some extra credits, you know, like pocket change. And the story, it goes on the same whether you give him the copper or not. But me, I say, if a fella asks for somethin’, and you got it, why not help him out? It’s just good manners, ain’t it?
- Go to Charybdis III.
- Find Tobias in the settlement.
- Make sure you got 150 copper in your inventory. Not in your ship! Tobias ain’t dumb, he can see that!
- Give the copper to Tobias. Or don’t. Your choice, I ain’t your mama.
Now, this Ada Lovelace lady, she’s in it too. She talks a whole lot, welcomes you to the community, and tells you to meet the leaders. Leaders, always tellin’ you what to do. Just like my old man, bless his soul.
But things ain’t always smooth sailin’, you hear? Sometimes, for no good reason, everyone gets all riled up and starts shootin’ at you. Robots, people, the whole shebang. It’s like when a rooster gets loose in the henhouse, pure chaos. But don’t you fret none, just reload your last save, and things should go back to normal. It’s like rewindin’ time, but with more shootin’.
And then there’s this Franklin fella. He’s holed up in his house, stubborn as a mule. Some say you gotta kill Tobias and all the other robots to get him out. Seems a bit extreme to me, but then again, I ain’t never been one to judge. If that’s what it takes, that’s what it takes. Then Franklin, he’ll come runnin’ out to defend the village. But you gotta be sneaky, stay hidden, like a fox in the henhouse, but in a good way this time.
This Operation Starseed, it’s got different endings, they say. Like choosin’ which road to take home, each one gets you there, but the scenery’s different. And the rewards, well, they’re different too. So you gotta think hard about what you want. Me, I always just wanted a good harvest and a warm fire, but these space folks, they got bigger dreams.
Now, I ain’t no gamer, y’all know that. I’m just tellin’ it like I see it. This game, it sounds like a whole lotta fuss, but if you like adventures and shootin’ things and givin’ folks copper, then maybe it’s for you. Just remember, keep that copper handy, be nice to Ada, and don’t go killin’ everyone unless you absolutely have to. And for goodness sake, keep your save files straight, you don’t want to lose all your progress like I lost my dentures last summer!
So, there you have it. That’s the story of Starfield and Tobias and the 150 copper, as best as I can tell it. Now go on, git outta here, and have yourselves some fun. And don’t forget to call your grandma, she misses you.
