Alright, so y’all wanna know ’bout this Cody Detwiler fella, huh? WhistlinDiesel, they call him. Sounds like a train, don’t it? Well, this young’un, he’s all over the internet, makin’ videos and such. I ain’t too good with this computer stuff, but my grandkid, he showed me some things.
This Cody guy, he’s got a YouTube channel. Millions of folks watchin’ him, apparently. He does all sorts of crazy things, like messin’ with trucks and diggers. My grandkid says he makes a lot of money doin’ it. Imagine that, gettin’ paid just for foolin’ around! Back in my day, we worked hard in the fields, sun up to sun down.

- He makes videos, and folks watch ’em. That’s how he makes his money, they say.
- He does some wild stuff, dangerous stuff sometimes. Like that time he shot hisself, Lord have mercy!
Now, about that shootin’ thing. Scared the bejesus outta me when I heard about it. Apparently, it was an accident, thank the good Lord. He shot hisself in the head, can you believe it? But he’s okay, they say. Tough as nails, that boy. My grandkid showed me some pictures, and it looked real bad. But he’s alive and kickin’, which is all that matters. It happened while he was filmin’ a video. Kids these days, always gotta be film’ somethin’. Back in my day, we just lived life, didn’t need no cameras.
They say he makes a whole heap of money from these videos. Thousands of dollars a month, they tell me. I can’t even imagine havin’ that much money. We used to scrape by, grow our own food, and be thankful for what we had. But this Cody fella, he’s livin’ a different life, that’s for sure. He’s got more money than he knows what to do with, I bet. He’s famous too. People all over the world know his name, WhistlinDiesel. It’s a funny name, if you ask me. But hey, if it makes him money, then good for him.
I don’t rightly understand all this internet stuff, but it seems like a whole different world. Folks makin’ money doin’ things I never even dreamed of. And this Cody Detwiler, he’s right in the middle of it. He’s a wild one, that’s for sure. But he seems like a good kid, deep down. Just a little bit crazy, maybe. But hey, we all got a little crazy in us, don’t we? He’s young, too. Just 22 years old, they say. He’s got his whole life ahead of him. I hope he stays safe, though. All that dangerous stuff he does, it worries me. He needs to be more careful, that’s what I say.
So yeah, that’s what I know about Cody Detwiler, or WhistlinDiesel, or whatever you wanna call him. He’s a young fella, makin’ videos, makin’ money, and livin’ life on the edge. I don’t understand it all, but I wish him well. Just hope he stays safe and doesn’t do anything too foolish. Life’s too precious to be throwin’ it away for a few clicks and views, that’s what I say. He needs to remember that. But hey, he’s young. He’ll learn. We all do, eventually.
