Alright, listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this place, this… Northern Nameless Mausoleum, yeah, that’s what they call it. Fancy name for a spooky spot, if ya ask me.
So, first off, where is this thing? Well, it ain’t exactly next door to the grocery store, that’s for sure. It’s in some place called the Land of Shadow. Sounds creepy, right? And it’s part of this new thing they got, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Don’t ask me what that means, I ain’t got a clue. All I know is, it’s a long way from anywhere I’ve ever been.
Now, gettin’ there ain’t easy. You gotta follow these… Spirit Springs. Yeah, like water, but all glowy and weird. You follow two of ’em, all the way up a dang cliff. Highest point, they say. And that’s where you find this…mausoleum thingy.
But hold yer horses, it ain’t just a pretty view. There’s this big ol’ Red Bear up there. And let me tell ya, he ain’t lookin’ for a picnic. He’s got these nasty Beast Claws and he’s meaner than a hornet’s nest. You gotta fight him if you wanna get anywhere. Big bad boss, they call him. I call him trouble.
Now, these Nameless Mausoleums, they ain’t like yer regular dungeons. No twisty hallways or hordes of little critters. Nope, it’s just you and one big, ugly customer. This Red Bear fella, he’s the gatekeeper, so to speak. You wanna get through, you gotta go through him.
And talkin’ ‘bout the mausoleum itself, it’s kinda like… well, it’s a big stone building, I guess. Not much to look at, really. But it’s what’s inside that counts, right? Or maybe it’s what you gotta do to get inside. Either way, it’s a whole lotta fuss for one ol’ bear and a pile of rocks.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. There’s this sealed Spirit Spring too. You gotta knock down some rocks to break the seal. Seems like a lot of work just to get to a fight, if ya ask me. But I guess that’s how they do things in the Land of Shadow.
And another thing, don’t go expectin’ no welcome wagon. This place is deserted, just you and the bear and maybe some ghosts, who knows? It’s quiet, too quiet if you ask me. Gives me the shivers just thinkin’ about it.
So, that’s the Northern Nameless Mausoleum for ya. A long way from anywhere, up a big ol’ cliff, with a mean bear standin’ in your way. Not my idea of a good time, but then again, I ain’t one for adventurin’ much. I’d rather stay home with a cup of tea and a good book, thank you very much.
But if you’re one of them young’uns lookin’ for a fight, well, go on ahead. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if that Red Bear chews you up and spits you out. I told ya it wasn’t gonna be easy.
