Well, let me tell ya, this here MLB TV thing, it’s got folks all riled up. Seems like there’s some kinda lawsuit goin’ on, and people ain’t happy.
What’s all the fuss about? From what I hear, it’s about them fellas sharin’ our watchin’ habits with Facebook. You know, like what games we watch and all that. And they did it without askin’ nobody! That ain’t right, I tell ya.
Now, they’re sayin’ it’s this here “Video Privacy Protection Act” they messed up. Sounds fancy, but it just means you can’t go around tellin’ folks what I watch on TV, especially not without my say-so. It’s like if I told the whole town what color your underwear is. Just ain’t right.
- They say * went and told Facebook who’s watchin’ what.
- And they didn’t even get permission! Can you believe that?
- Now folks are suein’ ’em, tryin’ to get some money back for all this trouble.
And it ain’t just that. Seems like they’re havin’ trouble gettin’ folks to watch baseball these days, too. They tried to speed up the games, but that didn’t work. Now the young folks ain’t watchin’, and the old folks are turnin’ it off too.
They even had a fight with that MLB Network, and now you can’t even watch it on some places. Used to be you could catch a game here and there, but now it’s all a mess. They say it’s about money, always about money.
And the automatic renewals! Don’t even get me started on that. Folks are sayin’ they’re gettin’ charged without knowin’ it. It’s like they’re sneakin’ into your wallet when you ain’t lookin’. That’s why people are so mad, and why there’s this lawsuit.
This whole thing, it’s just a big ol’ mess. They messed up sharin’ our info, they messed up the games, and they messed up the bills. It’s no wonder folks are up in arms. They need to fix this, and fast, or nobody’s gonna be watchin’ baseball no more.
I tell ya, back in my day, things weren’t like this. You watched your game, and that was it. Nobody was snoopin’ around, and nobody was chargin’ you for stuff you didn’t want. It’s a shame what things have come to.
So, what’s gonna happen? Well, I reckon these lawyers are gonna fight it out in court. And if they win, maybe us folks will get a little somethin’ back for all this trouble. But one thing’s for sure, MLB needs to get its act together. They need to start treatin’ folks right, or they’re gonna lose all their fans. And that’d be a real shame, cause baseball, well, it used to be a good game.
In short, MLB is in hot water for sharin’ subscriber watchin’ info with Facebook without permission, messin’ with automatic renewals and billin’, and havin’ trouble keepin’ folks watchin’ the games. People are suein’, and they’re demandin’ some answers. And they deserve ’em!
