Now, see, from what I hear tell, them Lions already got themselves a spot in the playoffs. That’s right, they’re in! But that ain’t enough for them fellas, no sir. They want more, they do. They want that number one spot, that’s what they want.

And they say they got a pretty good chance, somethin’ like seventy-six percent, of gettin’ that number one spot. That means they’d get to play at home, and that’s a big deal, let me tell ya.
Now, I ain’t no fancy expert or nothin’, but I know a good team when I see one. And them Lions, they’re a good team. They got that fella, Jared Goff, throwin’ the ball all over the place. And they got some fellas that can run fast and catch the ball. They score a lot of points, that’s for sure. They good at that offensing stuff.
But it ain’t just about scorin’ points, ya know. You gotta stop the other team from scorin’ too. And them Lions, they been doin’ a pretty good job of that lately. They gotta keep it up though, ’cause them other teams, they ain’t gonna just roll over and let the Lions win. No sir, they gonna fight tooth and nail.
Them experts, they talk about all these different scenarios, like if the Lions win this game and that team loses that game, then this happens. It’s enough to make your head spin, I tell ya. But like I said, it all comes down to winnin’. You win your games, you got a good chance. You lose your games, well, then you’re in trouble.
And let me tell ya somethin’ else about them Lions. They got that fire in their belly, ya know? They want to win, they really do. They ain’t just playin’ for the money, they playin’ for the pride, for the town, for all us folks who cheerin’ ’em on. And that means somethin’, it really does.
Now, some folks sayin’ the Lions got the best chance of winnin’ the whole darn Super Bowl. Can you believe that? The Super Bowl! That’s the biggest game of ’em all. And they sayin’ the Lions got a good shot at it. Well, I’ll be darned.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, ya hear? They gotta take it one game at a time. They gotta focus on the next game, and the next game after that. And if they keep winnin’, well, then who knows what can happen. Maybe, just maybe, they’ll bring that Super Bowl trophy home to our town. Wouldn’t that be somethin’?
So, what are the Lions’ chances of makin’ the playoffs? Well, they’re already in, like I said. And their chances of gettin’ that number one spot are pretty darn good. But it ain’t gonna be easy. They gotta keep playin’ hard, they gotta stay focused, and they gotta keep winnin’. And if they do all that, well, then I reckon they got a real good shot at goin’ all the way. Go Lions!
