Well, let’s yak about this Tyreek Hill fella and his speed, you know? They call him “Cheetah,” fast like a cat chasing a mouse, they say. But is he really the fastest? That’s what folks keep jabberin’ about.
Now, I heard tell that Tyreek ran a 4.29 in that 40-yard thingy. Sounds mighty fast, doesn’t it? Like a blink of an eye and he’s gone. But they say, and this is what gets me, that it ain’t the fastest ever. Some other fellas, they done run faster in them combine things. This Xavier Worthy fella, they say he’s faster. Goes to show, there’s always someone a little bit quicker, just like in the henhouse, always a rooster that crows the loudest.
But Tyreek, he’s fast on the field, during the games. That’s what matters, ain’t it? Not just runnin’ in a straight line, but zippin’ and zaggin’ past them other fellas, catchin’ the ball, and scorin’. That’s where his speed shines, like the sun on a hot summer day.
I saw on that there TV, this ESPN show, they were talkin’ about Tyreek’s speed. They used big words, “dynamic speed” and “agility.” Sounded fancy. But what it means is he’s not just fast, he’s quick and shifty too. Like a squirrel dodgin’ a dog, that’s Tyreek on the field. He’s got that Tyreek Hill speed, that’s what they all say.
- He’s got quick feet.
- He can change direction faster than a chicken peckin’ corn.
- He’s like greased lightning, they say.
They say he plays for the Miami Dolphins now. Used to be with the Kansas City Chiefs. Don’t matter much to me, long as he’s runnin’ fast and makin’ them touchdowns. That’s what folks pay to see, ain’t it? A fella that can outrun everyone else, like a rabbit in a field.
Now, this DK Metcalf fella, he’s another one they talk about bein’ fast. Big fella, too, not like Tyreek who’s more like a whippet. They say DK ran real fast, faster than anyone in a game last year, or maybe the year before. Time flies, hard to keep track. But he ain’t faster than Tyreek in a straight line, that’s for sure. And this Raheem Mostert, they say he’s the fastest ever in a game. Imagine that, faster than anyone! But still, they call Tyreek “Cheetah,” so he must be somethin’ special.
It’s all a bit confusin’, all these numbers and speeds. But one thing’s for sure, Tyreek Hill is fast, real fast. Whether he’s the fastest, well, that’s somethin’ they can argue about ’til the cows come home. But he’s fast enough to make them other fellas look like they’re standin’ still, and that’s good enough for me.
He’s got that somethin’ special, that Tyreek Hill speed. Makes you wonder what he eats for breakfast, maybe it’s somethin’ we should all be havin’. Probably not possum stew like I make, though. He needs somethin’ to make him zoom, not just fill his belly.
You see him on that field, and he’s like a blur. Like a ghost, only faster. They try to catch him, but it’s like tryin’ to catch the wind. He’s gone before you can blink. That’s what makes him excitin’ to watch. That’s why everyone wants to know about this Tyreek Hill speed. They compare him to everyone, but he is who he is, Tyreek Hill, the “Cheetah”.
So yeah, Tyreek Hill. Fast fella. Maybe not the fastest ever, but fast enough to make you gasp and say, “How’d he do that?” And that, I reckon, is what makes him a star. A real fast star, shinin’ bright on that football field.
