Alright, alright, let’s gab a bit about this Jessica Nowitzki, or whatever her name is. Folks keep yappin’ about her, so I figured I’d chime in with what I know, or what I heard anyways. Don’t expect no fancy words from me, I just tell it like it is, ya hear?
So, this Jessica gal, she’s hitched to that tall German fella, Dirk somebody. You know, the basketball player? Big fella, shoots the ball real good. Heard he’s a big deal over in America. Anyways, Jessica, she wasn’t born over there in Germany with him. Nope, she’s from Sweden, that cold place up north. Born in some town called Gävle, or something like that. Can’t even pronounce it right, sounds like a cat coughin’ up a hairball to me.
- Born: December 1980
- Birthplace: Gävle, Sweden
- Parents: Swedish father, Kenyan mother
- Siblings: Twin brothers, Marcus and Martin (football players)
Now, her mama, she’s from Kenya, way over in Africa. Hot place, I reckon. So Jessica, she’s a mix of things, just like a good stew. Swedish and Kenyan, that’s somethin’ ain’t it? And get this, she got twin brothers! Both of ’em play that football, the kind where you kick the ball with your feet, not the one with the helmets and all that roughhousin’. They’re professional players, or so I heard. Guess athletism runs in the family, huh?
She married that Dirk fella in 2012, I think. August, it was. Hot month. Probably sweated buckets at that wedding. Can’t imagine wearin’ one of them fancy dresses in that heat. I’d rather sit in my rocking chair with a glass of iced tea, but that’s just me.
Folks keep sayin’ she’s a “devoted wife and mother.” Well, I should hope so! What else she gonna be? A bad wife and mother? Makes no sense to me. She takes care of her kids, and she stands by her man. That’s what a good woman does. And she tries to work too, they say. Juggling it all, like every woman I know. Ain’t nothin’ special ’bout that, every woman works hard, whether it’s in the house or out in the world.
They say she goes to Dirk’s basketball games a lot. Cheering him on and all that. Well, that’s nice. Support your man, that’s what I say. He makes a lot of money throwin’ that ball around, so she might as well enjoy it. Probably gets to travel all over the place too. Seein’ fancy things, eatin’ fancy food. Good for her, I guess. I’m happy enough sittin’ on my porch, watchin’ the chickens peck at the ground.
She’s in her forties now, this Jessica. Still a young’un in my book. I’ve seen more winters than she has, that’s for sure. But she seems like a good sort. Not too stuck-up, even though she’s married to a rich fella. At least, that’s what I hear. Don’t know her personally, never even seen her in real life. But from what folks say, she’s alright.
Jessica Olsson Nowitzki, that’s her full name, I think. Olsson from her daddy’s side, Nowitzki from her husband. It’s important to remember your name, your roots, where you come from. That’s what my mama always told me. Even if you marry a rich fella and move to a fancy place, don’t forget who you are.
So there you have it. That’s all I know about Jessica Nowitzki. She’s a Swedish-Kenyan woman, married to a basketball player, got twin brothers who play football, and she’s a good mama and wife. Nothin’ too fancy, just a regular woman livin’ her life. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed them chickens.
Oh, one more thing, they say she’s really tryin’ to keep things normal for her kids. You know, not lettin’ them get too spoiled just because their daddy makes a lot of money. Good for her, I say. Kids need to learn the value of a hard day’s work. Can’t just be gallivantin’ around expectin’ everything handed to ’em on a silver platter. That’s not how the world works, not for most folks anyways.
And she seems to be pretty private too. Not one for all that showin’ off on social media, or whatever them young folks call it. That’s respectable, in my opinion. Some folks just like to keep their business to themselves, and there ain’t nothin’ wrong with that. A little bit of privacy is a good thing in this day and age, when everyone seems to know everyone else’s business.
Anyways, I think that’s about all I got to say about Jessica. She seems like a decent woman, and I wish her and her family all the best. Now, I really gotta go feed them chickens, they’re squawkin’ up a storm out there!
