Tony, he’s got a friend, a coach named Pagano. This Pagano fella, he did get cancer, a bad one, leukemia they called it. Happened back in 2012. He had to stop coachin’ for a while, take a leave of absence, they called it. Sounded scary, and I bet it was.
But see, that’s the thing ’bout cancer. It can hit anyone, even strong, healthy folks like coaches. That’s why it’s so important to pay attention and do what you can to fight it, just like Tony’s tryin’ to tell everybody. And his friend, Pagano, he fought it too, and that’s somethin’ to admire.
