Well, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Osamu Yada. Don’t rightly know him from Adam, but I heard some things, you know, like folks gossipin’ over the fence. Seems like he’s a big deal in some circles, though I ain’t quite sure what them circles are.
Some say he’s a real smarty-pants, a “guru” they call him. Now, I ain’t never met no guru, but from what I gather, this Yada fella, he knows a whole heap ’bout how bodies move. He’s like a mechanic for people, I reckon, fixin’ up them athletes so they can throw balls real fast or run like the wind.
- He works with this Yamamoto fella, a pitcher, makes him throw like a machine they say.
- And that Mookie Betts fella, plays for the Dodgers, he even trains with this Yada guy’s partner. Must be somethin’ to him, if them fancy city folk are seekin’ him out.
He signed some young pitcher too, a 25-year-old, they say he’s real talented. Folks sure do get excited ’bout these young’uns, hope they don’t get their hopes up too high.
Now, I hear tell this Yada ain’t just about muscles and bones. He’s got somethin’ to do with trust too, and standin’ tall with your friends, even when they ain’t all that agreeable. Sounds like somethin’ my old pappy used to say, “stick together, even when you want to tan each other’s hide.” Guess some things are true no matter where you come from, city or country.
They say he’s been to that big ol’ stadium, the Dodger Stadium. Guess he goes where the games are, that makes sense. Always followin’ them young athletes, makin’ sure they don’t break down.
Then there’s this other thing I heard, somethin’ ‘bout a book and a challenge. Sounds like he puts folks through the wringer, makes ’em face their fears. Kinda like life, ain’t it? Always throwin’ somethin’ at you, gotta keep your chin up.
This Osamu fella, he’s like a jack-of-all-trades, it seems. Some folks know him for his smarts, some for his trainin’, others for his work with them athletes. He’s even got folks on that Facebook thing talkin’ ’bout him, sharin’ stuff and makin’ the world seem a little smaller. Don’t rightly understand that Facebook stuff myself, but if it helps folks connect, I reckon it ain’t all bad.
They talk ’bout him bein’ some kind of artist too. Now, I ain’t seen no pictures, but I know an artist when I see one. It ain’t always about paintin’ pretty pictures, sometimes it’s ’bout makin’ somethin’ outta nothin’, and this Yada fella seems to do that with them athletes, makin’ ’em the best they can be. And an anime character too? My grandbabies watch them animes, I can’t keep up with all those cartoons. He’s everywhere it seems.
And then there’s the learnin’ part. They say he’s done a whole heap of research, written stuff down and got other folks readin’ it. He’s got “citations” and “reads” they say. Sounds important. Guess he’s tryin’ to share what he knows, pass it on to the next generation. That’s a good thing, we always need folks lookin’ out for the future.
So, that’s the long and short of what I know ’bout Osamu Yada. A smart fella, a trainer, a helper, maybe even an artist. He sounds like a good egg, the kind you’d want on your side. But then again, I ain’t met him myself, this is just what I heard, you know, through the grapevine. But where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire, so I reckon there’s somethin’ to all this talk. He seems like a hardworking man, tryin’ to make a difference in the world, one way or another. Can’t fault a man for that, can ya? Whether he’s fixin’ muscles or buildin’ trust, it all sounds like good work to me.
Now, I gotta get back to my chores. All this talkin’ ‘bout big city folks and their fancy doin’s makes my head spin. But it’s good to hear ‘bout folks makin’ somethin’ of themselves, no matter where they come from or what they do.
