Well, let me tell ya ’bout them Husker baseball scores, ya know? It’s like this, sometimes they win, sometimes they lose, just like life, ain’t it?
Them Huskers, they play ball, yeah. Big games, small games, all sorts of games. I hear tell they play these other fellas, like Maryland. And Wichita State, that’s a place with a lot of wind, I reckon. Then there’s South Alabama, way down south, hot as a pistol, probably. And them Big Ten fellas too, like Northwestern and Michigan State, and Ohio State. Lots of games, lots of scores to keep track of, if you’re into that kinda thing.
Now, I don’t understand all them fancy numbers, you know, the runs and the hits and all that. But I know when they win, folks get happy. And when they lose, well, there’s always next time, that’s what I say. It’s just a game, after all, ain’t no need to get your britches in a twist about it.
- Big games: They play in somethin’ called the Big Ten Tournament. Sounds important, must be a lot of hollerin’ and cheerin’ goin’ on there.
- Lots of teams: Maryland, Wichita State, South Alabama, Northwestern, Michigan State, Ohio State… Shoot, sounds like a whole lotta fellas runnin’ around.
- Wins and losses: Sometimes they win, sometimes they don’t. That’s just the way it is, like I said.
They got this fella, Michael Bruntz, he writes about the games. I reckon he knows all them numbers and such. He writes for somethin’ called “Huskers” and talks about “Nebraska Baseball 2023”. Sounds like he keeps busy, followin’ them boys around.
I heard tell they won against Ohio State, shut ’em right out, didn’t let ’em score nothin’. That’s good, right? Means them Husker pitchers were throwin’ the ball real good, I guess. And they played Michigan State too, started off losin’ but, well, I don’t know how it ended up. These games, they go on and on, sometimes I just lose track, you know?
Keepin’ up with the scores is like tryin’ to catch a greased pig, it is. One minute they’re up, the next they’re down. But that’s baseball for ya, keeps ya on your toes. They play these series, a bunch of games in a row against the same team. Like that series with South Alabama, they won that one, I think. And then there’s the Northwestern series, and the one against Michigan State… it’s a whole lot to remember, I tell ya.
They even got somethin’ called “Husker Baseball live score”. I guess that means you can find out what’s happenin’ right then and there, no waitin’ around. Folks these days, they want everything right now, don’t they? No patience, just gotta know, gotta know. But me, I figure I’ll find out eventually, no need to rush.
So, them Husker baseball scores, they change all the time. It’s a long season, they play a bunch of games. And like I said, it ain’t the end of the world if they lose a few. It’s just a game, meant to be enjoyed, right? So, go on and cheer for them Huskers, or don’t. Makes no difference to me. I’ll just be here, watchin’ the grass grow and waitin’ for the next game. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll catch a score or two along the way. But don’t count on it. I got other things to do, you know. Life goes on, even if them Huskers don’t win every game.
