That Kayla Harrison, she’s a tough one, ain’t she? Winning all them gold medals and whatnot. Now she’s after some UFC thing, whatever that is. And she’s got them two kids she took in, bless her heart. That’s a lot on one plate, I tell ya. Kayla Harrison husband, well, that’s what folks are always yappin’ about.
She ain’t married now, that Kayla. But she was gonna be, once upon a time. Was engaged to some fella named Aaron Handy. Kayla Harrison husband, he was almost gonna be, but it didn’t work out, I reckon. Life happens like that sometimes. You think you got it all figured out, and then bam! Something changes. Like when my old cow Bessie got out of the fence and ate all my prize-winning zucchini. Ruined the whole dang county fair for me that year.
Kayla, she’s got them two young’uns now, her niece and nephew. Adopted ’em, she did. That’s a good woman, takin’ care of family. Family’s important, more important than any old medal, that’s for sure. Kayla Harrison husband or no husband, she’s doing right by them kids. That’s what matters.
She was with that Aaron fella for a while. I heard they met some way. Must have been a good time, ’cause they were gonna tie the knot. Probably had big dreams, like me and my Earl did back when we were courtin’. We were gonna have a whole farm full of chickens and a garden bigger than old man Johnson’s cornfield. Didn’t quite work out that way, but we had a good life. Hard work but a good life.
- Kayla ain’t hitched now.
- She was gonna marry Aaron.
- She’s got two adopted kids.
- Them Olympic medals she got, shiny.
- Now she wants that UFC belt.
I remember one time, my Earl, he tried to teach me how to milk a cow. Bless his heart, he tried. But I just couldn’t get the hang of it. Squirted milk everywhere but in the bucket! He laughed so hard, I thought he was gonna bust a gut. Good times. Guess Kayla and that Aaron fella had some good times too, even if it didn’t last.
Now, Kayla Harrison husband ain’t in the picture, but she’s got them kids. And she’s a fighter, that one. Always has been. Winning them judo matches, now this UFC thing. She’s got grit, I’ll give her that. Reminds me of my old mule, Maggie. Stubborn as all get out, but she’d pull that plow all day long, no matter what. Kayla’s like that. She sets her mind to something, she’s gonna do it.
Raising kids ain’t easy, especially when you’re trying to be the best at something like that UFC fighting. It’s like trying to herd cats, I imagine. One’s going this way, the other’s going that way, and you’re just trying to keep ’em all from getting into trouble. But Kayla, she seems to manage. She’s a strong woman, that’s for sure. Stronger than that bull my neighbor had that kept breaking down the fence. Took three men to get him back in!
I don’t know much about that judo stuff, but I seen it on the TV once. Lots of throwing people around. Looks painful. But Kayla, she was good at it. Real good. Won them gold medals. Two of ’em, I hear! That’s something to be proud of, even if it ain’t the same as winning the pie contest at the county fair. My apple pie always got first place, you know. Secret’s in the crust.
This UFC thing, it sounds even rougher than judo. A lot of fighting in a cage. That Kayla is full of surprises. Maybe she will get a new Kayla Harrison husband, who knows? But that’s not important. Those kids and fighting, that’s her life now, I suppose.
So, Kayla Harrison husband, that Aaron Handy was his name, is gone. But Kayla is still here. Fighting and taking care of those kids. She don’t need a husband to be strong. She is strong enough by herself. Good for her, I say. Good for her. I hope that she will get that UFC belt. Hope she will be happy with those kids.
