That Diego Pavia, he sure is somethin’. He’s a wrestler, ya know? And a darn good one, they say. I seen him on the TV, throwin’ them other fellas around like they was rag dolls. He’s not the biggest fella, mind you, but he’s got grit. Six feet tall and maybe 200 pounds, that’s what they said on the TV. He is a quarterback, too. That means he’s the one throwin’ the ball. He must be strong to throw them big fellas around like that, but he is also quick.
I heard he played against some team that was supposed to be the best. And guess what? He did good! He’s like one of them little bands, not everyone knows ’em, but they’re good. That’s him, Diego. He plays for that New Mexico place. He’s got that New Mexico spirit in ‘im. Faith, family, and just bein’ himself. Just like that state, they say. He’s tough, like the land out there. You gotta be tough to make it in this world, that’s for sure.
- He’s a good wrestler.
- He’s a quarterback.
- He’s from New Mexico.
- He’s got grit.
I remember hearin’ somethin’ about him wrestlin’ with his eyes closed. Can you believe that? Must be some kinda special trainin’ they do. He used to do it all the time. Now he does it different. He’s always learnin’, that one. Always gettin’ better. That’s what you gotta do in life. Keep learnin’, keep gettin’ better. He is sure good, and I like watchin’ him. Diego Pavia wrestling is a good thing to see.
They was talkin’ on the TV about some court thing. Some judge said somethin’ about him playin’ another year. Somethin’ about Vanderbilt. That’s a fancy school, ain’t it? I don’t know all the details, but it sounds like he wanted to play more, and they was gonna let him. Good for him, I say. If you got the talent, you oughta be able to use it. Play while you can, I always say. You’re only young once.
Wrestling ain’t easy, ya know. Takes a lot outta ya. You gotta be strong, gotta be quick, gotta be smart. And you gotta have heart. That Diego, he’s got heart. You can see it in his eyes. He ain’t afraid of nothin’. He goes out there and gives it his all, every time. That’s all you can ask of a fella. Give it your all.
He plays football, too, that Diego Pavia. Quarterback, they call it. He throws the ball, leads the team. He’s a leader, that one. You can see that on the field. He got all the other fellers followin’ him, doin’ what he says. That’s important, ya know. Havin’ someone to follow, someone to look up to. He’s a good role model, that Diego.
I don’t know much about that Gretchen Walsh, but she beat some Spitz fella’s record. Good for her. But this here is about Diego. He’s the one we’re talkin’ about. He’s the one doin’ all that wrestlin’ and football playin’. He’s the one workin’ hard, makin’ a name for himself.
- He’s a leader.
- He’s a role model.
- He’s hard workin’.
- That Diego Pavia is somethin’ special.
I seen a lot of fellas come and go, playin’ sports and what not. But that Diego, he’s different. He’s got somethin’ special. He’s got that fire in him. He’s gonna go far, that one. You just wait and see. He is one to watch out for. I like to see how he does.
He’s a good boy, that Diego Pavia. Comes from a good place, New Mexico. That is a good place to be from. They have a lot of wrestlers there. He’s gonna make ’em proud. He’s gonna make everyone proud. He’s a good wrestler, a good football player, and a good person. That’s what matters most, ya know. Bein’ a good person. He is good at Diego Pavia wrestling.
Well, I gotta go now. Got chores to do. But I’ll be watchin’ that Diego. I’ll be rootin’ for him. He is the best. You just watch and see. He’s gonna do big things. Big things. He is gonna be a big star. I hope he does good in life.
