That Stellar Blade, is it one of them souls like games? I heard folks talking ’bout it. My grandson, he plays them video games all the time. This one, they say it’s hard. Like them souls like games he plays.
You know, in them souls like, you die, you gotta go back. Start all over. They say this Stellar Blade is like that. You go back to your camp, gotta do it all again. My grandson, he gets so mad sometimes! But he keeps playin’. He said he did the whole demo for this Stellar Blade game already.
I seen him playin’ other games, like that See-kee-row. He said Stellar Blade is kinda like that. Gotta be careful, gotta watch what them bad guys are doin’. One wrong move, bam, you’re done. But maybe this new game, Stellar Blade, ain’t as hard, some people say. They say it’s more forgiving. Whatever that means.
Some folks say Stellar Blade ain’t a souls like at all. They say it’s more like, what’s that word? Hack and slash? Like you just run in there and start swingin’. My grandson, he don’t like them kind as much. He likes the ones where you gotta think.
This Stellar Blade, it’s on a broken Earth, I hear. Everything’s all messed up. Sounds sad. But my grandson, he likes that kinda stuff. Says it makes the game more excitin’.
- Gotta dodge them bad guys.
- Gotta parry. Whatever that is.
- Gotta be smart about how you fight.
Sounds like them other souls like games he plays. Like that Dark Souls one. That one’s real hard, he says. Even harder than this new one maybe. He said he likes the ones with a good story too.
So, is Stellar Blade a souls like? Well, I don’t rightly know. Sounds like it is, kinda. But maybe not exactly. I guess it depends on how you play it. My grandson, he said it depends on the difficulty, too. Whatever that means.
If you like them hard games, where you die a lot, then maybe this Stellar Blade is for you. My grandson said he likes a good challenge. If you just wanna run in and hit stuff without thinkin’ much, maybe it ain’t for you.
I reckon it all depends on what you like in a game. My grandson, he likes to figure things out. He likes to learn the moves, get better at the game. He says it’s satisfyin’ when you finally beat a hard boss. Stellar Blade sounds like it got them hard bosses. You gotta learn their patterns, he says. Just like them other souls like games.
This Stellar Blade has guns too, I heard. That’s different. Them other souls like games mostly just got swords and stuff. My grandson, he was excited about that. Said it makes the game more fun. I guess he likes shootin’ things in his games.

They say this Stellar Blade got some platforming. That’s jumpin’ around, I think. Like that Mario game my grandson used to play when he was little. But I bet this Stellar Blade platforming is a lot harder. It has platforming and combat, so it’s an action-adventure game.
I don’t know much about these video games. But my grandson, he sure does. He said he can’t wait for Stellar Blade to come out. He’s gonna play it all day long, I bet. He’s gonna be yellin’ at the TV, gettin’ mad when he dies. But he’ll keep playin’. He always does.
So, yeah, Stellar Blade, is it a souls like? Kinda, maybe. It’s got some things that are the same. But it’s got some things that are different, too. I guess you just gotta play it and see for yourself. If you like that See-kee-row game, maybe you’ll like this one. Stellar Blade sounds like it’s for folks who like a good, hard game. That’s all I know.
