Now, them linemen, them big fellas up front, they gotta be huge. They need that size to move them other fellas around, and protect that quarterback. I don’t really understand this, but they need big size to move defenders. I think it is important to them.
But it’s tricky, this whole size thing. ‘Cause you see some smaller quarterbacks doin’ real good too. They might not be as tall, or have the biggest hands, but they got somethin’ else. Maybe they’re quicker, or smarter, or just plain lucky.
I reckon it’s like anything else in life. Size matters, sure, but it ain’t the only thing. You gotta have heart, and grit, and a whole lotta determination. And maybe a little bit of luck, too.
