You wanna know about that Dreadwing location, huh? I heard some folks talking about it. That big ol’ bird, metal thing. Big and scary, that’s what it is. They say it’s a “boss machine”. What’s that even mean? Sounds fancy, but it’s just a big metal bird to me.
They got these things called “Dreadwings”. And you won’t see ’em till you get to somethin’ called “Seeds of the Past”. Sounds like a load of hooey if you ask me. Seeds of the Past, what a name!
Once you see one, though, they start poppin’ up. Like weeds, I tell ya. They say there’s a couple spots in this big ol’ world where they like to hang out.
- One spot, they say, is near somethin’ called “Latopolis”. Southwest of a place called “Plainsong”. I ain’t never been, but that’s what I hear. They say that’s where you find a regular ol’ Dreadwing. Nothin’ special, just your everyday giant metal bird.
They say this Dreadwing is always at this one spot. If you go to the campfire, it just sits there, waiting like it knows you are coming. You kill it a few times.
Now, there’s also a spot, way up high. Up in them mountains. Nobody marked it, though. Gotta find it yourself, I reckon. A place near the beach. Near “Far Zenith”. Those are just names, don’t mean nothin’ to me.
There are three places in the normal game, and one more in somethin’ called “Burning Shores”. Sounds hot. I don’t like the heat.
There are two places they like to show up. Two spots for those Dreadwing things. If you want to find the “Apex” ones, that is what they call them. Sounds tough. They say you gotta go to the mountains, and it is on the left. Its all random though.
When you see one of them Dreadwing things, you gotta aim for its throat. They say there’s somethin’ called a “metalbite sac”. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds important. And it’s got these things on its chest, like bombs. You can shoot ’em off and use ’em against it, I hear. Clever, huh? Shoot its own stuff right back at it.
If you want parts from these things. Like their fangs. They’re called “Dreadwing Metal Fangs”, fancy, right? You gotta shoot ’em off. And there’s these other things, “Apex Dreadwing Hearts”. You get those from the “Apex” ones. And “Dreadwing Primary Nerves”. Just get those from any ol’ Dreadwing, I guess.
They say you can find these Dreadwing locations easy. But I don’t know. Seems like a lot of work just to find a big metal bird. I’d rather just stay home and tend to my garden. But hey, if you’re into that sort of thing, go for it. Just be careful, ya hear? Those things look mean.
- You can find these “Dreadwings” in these places.
- Some are called “Apex” and are tougher, so they say.
- They got these things on their throat you should aim for.
- And bombs on their chest you can use against them.
I don’t know why you’d want to mess with them things. But some people do. They go looking for these Dreadwing locations and try to get parts. You know how people are. Always gotta have the biggest and best of everything. Even if it is a metal bird’s tooth.
This whole “Dreadwing location” thing is just a lot of bother if you ask me. But then again, I’m just a simple person. I don’t need all these fancy machines and metal birds. I’m happy with what I got. But these young folks, they’re always after somethin’ new. Somethin’ exciting. Even if it’s dangerous.
So there you have it. That’s what I know about these Dreadwing locations. Not much, but it’s somethin’. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I got chores to do. These chickens ain’t gonna feed themselves, you know. And I got a pie in the oven. Apple, if you’re interested. Made with apples from my own tree. Now that’s somethin’ worth talkin’ about, not some silly metal bird.
