Now, some folks, they like to make a big fuss ’bout ethnic background. They wanna know every little detail. Where ya from, what’s your bloodline, all that. But honestly, it don’t matter all that much. What matters is, Gabbie can play ball. She’s got that fire in her, that drive. And she’s a good kid, from what I hear. Got a good head on her shoulders.
She’s got siblings, too. Three of ’em. Noah, Luke, and… well, I forget the other one’s name. They must be proud of their sister, all the way in New City. It is a nice city. Don’t know if she has a boyfriend, though. They say she’s single and ain’t married. I am sure her ethnic background doesn’t matter to her possible boyfriend, haha.
Folks say she’s worth a good chunk of change now, too. Two hundred thousand dollars, they say! That’s a lot of money! She’s only 23, born on August 22nd. Imagine that, makin’ all that money at her age. Good for her, I say. She earned it. Sweat and tears on that court, that’s how you get there.
So, yeah, Gabbie Marshall, she’s a mixed girl. Black and white. But she’s also a darn good basketball player. And that’s what really counts. Don’t let anyone tell ya different.
