Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another story from my life, and today I wanna talk about something that’s been on my mind lately – Big Cass, that wrestler dude.
So, I was going through some old boxes a few weeks back, and I stumbled upon a bunch of my old wrestling stuff. You know, action figures, magazines, the whole nine yards. And it got me thinking about all those guys I used to watch religiously, and Big Cass was one of them.
I started digging around the internet, trying to figure out what this guy’s been up to. It’s like, one day he’s there, tearing it up in the ring, and the next, poof, he’s gone. Turns out, he actually made a comeback a little while ago, in February, at some event called Lariato Pro Wrestling. Who knew, right? Apparently he goes by CaZXL now. Sounds kinda cool, I guess.
From what I gathered, this guy had some serious issues outside the ring. It’s a bummer, you know? They were gonna make him a big solo star and everything after he and Enzo Amore split. But things got messy, he pissed off a lot of people, and there were some substance abuse problems too. Next thing you know, WWE let him go. I guess that all went down in January 2018, if I remember right.
But here’s the kicker – dude’s also trying to be a rapper now! Seriously. He went by Real1 for a bit, but now it seems he’s sticking with that CaZXL name. Found some stuff about him being from Hackensack, New Jersey. And I also found that he made his return to wrestling in January 2019. Guess he was taking a break or something.
I tried to find some of his new wrestling matches online, but honestly, it wasn’t easy. It’s like he’s keeping a low profile or something. Maybe he’s just trying to rebuild his career quietly, I don’t know.
- He returned to wrestling at Lariato Pro Wrestling.
- He’s going by the name CaZXL now.
- He had some backstage problems and substance issues that led to him leaving WWE.
- He’s also trying to make it as a rapper.
Here’s what I did find out:
It’s a wild story, man. One minute you’re on top of the world, and the next, you’re facing some real demons. I hope the guy’s doing alright, though. It takes guts to come back from something like that and try to make things right.
Anyways, that’s the story of Big Cass, or CaZXL, as far as I could piece it together. It’s a reminder that even these larger-than-life characters we see on TV are just regular people with their own struggles. Makes you think, doesn’t it?
