Okay, let’s talk about this Shakur vs. Artem fight that I finally got around to watching. I’ve been meaning to check out this full card for a while, and I finally sat down and did it.
First off, I grabbed all the fights from, you know, the usual spots. Downloaded them onto my computer, no big deal. It was actually quite easy to get them, I spent about an hour to do this and then I started to watch them.
So, I started watching these fights in order. The undercard fights were okay, nothing too crazy. Some decent action, a few guys I hadn’t seen before. Kept me entertained enough while I was waiting for the main event, Shakur Stevenson vs. Artem Harutyunyan.
- Watched all the undercard fights one by one.
- Made some notes on the fighters I liked, just for my own records.
- Got some snacks ready for the main event, gotta be prepared, right?
The Main Event: Shakur Stevenson vs. Artem Harutyunyan
Alright, so the Shakur fight. Man, this guy is something else. I knew he was good, but watching him live, or, well, you know, on my computer, is a whole different story. He’s just so smooth, so slick.
What I did during the fight:
- I was really paying attention to Shakur’s footwork. It’s insane how he moves around the ring.
- Tried to count how many punches Artem actually landed, it wasn’t many.
- Kept rewinding some parts just to see Shakur’s combinations again.
- I also noticed that the final score doesn’t really reflect what happened in the ring.
Honestly, Artem didn’t stand much of a chance. Shakur was just too fast, too skilled. It was like watching a masterclass or something. I mean, I felt a little bad for Artem, but that’s boxing, right? One guy wins, one guy loses.
After the fight, I did a little digging online. Apparently, Shakur is guaranteed to earn like 1.5 million bucks from this fight, and Artem got like 400k. Not bad for a night’s work, huh? I wish I could make that kind of money. And I also found that before turning pro, Shakur had fought over 140 amateur fights with only 13 losses. That’s crazy!
Anyway, after I finished watching all the fights, I organized my notes, wrote down some thoughts, and figured I’d share them here. You know, just in case anyone else is interested in this stuff. I love boxing, and this is kind of my way of keeping track of it all.
It’s a wrap. This is what I did and saw and learned from this full card of Shakur vs Artem. I’ll probably do this again for other fights, it’s kinda fun.
