So, I’ve been trying to figure out how many subscribers this guy Bryson DeChambeau has on YouTube. You know, the golfer who switched over to LIV Golf? Yeah, that guy. I heard some chatter that he’s getting close to, or maybe even surpassed, the PGA Tour’s subscriber count on YouTube, so I wanted to see for myself.
First, I just went straight to YouTube and typed in “Bryson DeChambeau.” His channel popped right up. I clicked on his channel, and right there, clear as day, was his subscriber count. At that moment, he has around 1.49 million subscribers. Man, that’s a lot of people watching his golf videos.
But I got curious about how this stacks up against the PGA Tour, so I searched for their channel too. And guess what? They have just 1.48 million subscribers. Can you believe that? This one golfer is neck and neck with the whole PGA Tour channel in terms of subscribers.
I also found out that the PGA tour has 20K videos, and Bryson has only 131 videos, and still, they have a similar subscriber count. It’s crazy!
But here’s where it gets interesting. I wanted to see if his numbers were going up, like, in real-time. So I started looking for websites that track YouTube stats. There are a few of them out there, and they let you see all kinds of data, like daily subscriber changes and even predictions for the future.
- First step: Searched Bryson DeChambeau on YouTube.
- Second step: Found his channel and saw the subscriber count directly.
- Third step: Compared it with the PGA Tour’s channel.
- Fourth step: Searched for websites to check real-time stats and future predictions.
I found a few sites that do this, and they confirmed that his subscriber count is indeed around 1.5 million. But, and this is a big but, I noticed that the PGA Tour’s channel has way more total views, like 1.7 billion. That’s a lot of views. I guess people watch the PGA Tour videos more frequently or maybe they have a larger library of videos.
I dug a little deeper into the analytics on those websites. Apparently, Bryson’s engagement rate is about 3.14%. I’m not sure what that exactly means, but it looks impressive.
My Findings
From what I gathered, Bryson is really popular on YouTube, almost as popular as the entire PGA Tour channel, at least in terms of subscribers. But the PGA Tour still has him beat when it comes to overall views.
Anyway, that’s my little deep dive into Bryson DeChambeau’s YouTube numbers. It’s pretty wild how this one guy is making such big waves in the golf world, even on social media.
