Okay, so, the other day I was kinda bored and decided to look up the Auburn cheerleader roster. Yeah, I know, random, but hey, it happens. I just typed it into the search bar, and bam, a whole bunch of stuff popped up.
First thing I noticed was a post, I think it was from some blog or something, talking all about the roster. It even called them a “talented squad” which, you know, fair enough. These folks are athletes. This article was post on December 29, 2024. I guess that is a error.
Then I scrolled down a bit and saw an Instagram post from the official Auburn cheerleaders account. This was way more recent, like from May 9, 2024. They were congratulating the new members for the 2024-2025 season. There were tons of likes and comments, clearly a big deal for those involved.
Clicked around some more and found the university’s official sports page. They had all the usual stuff, like schedules and what not.
Also found some info saying these cheerleaders get to perform at football, and men’s and women’s basketball games. That’s a pretty sweet gig, if you ask me. Imagine the energy at those events!
Went back to Instagram and started checking out other college cheerleading accounts, just for fun. Saw one for the University of Delaware and another one called “ville_cheer” which seems to be for Millersville University. They all post cool photos and videos of their stunts and routines. It’s seriously impressive what these people can do.
Anyways, that was my little adventure diving into the world of college cheerleading. It was more interesting than I expected, to be honest.
