Okay, so I’ve been playing this game, Wuthering Waves, and I was really struggling to find this one thing called Gloom Slough. I needed it to upgrade some stuff, you know, the usual grind. I looked all over the internet, but most guides were just confusing or not very helpful. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and figure it out myself. Let me tell you, it was a journey.
First, I started by just running around the world, checking every nook and cranny. The game mentioned that Gloom Slough could be found in the overworld, so I figured it would be easy, right? Wrong! I spent hours exploring, fighting enemies, and basically getting sidetracked with other quests. I did find some cool chests and other resources, but still no Gloom Slough.
My First Clue
Then, I remembered someone mentioning that it’s often found “among the ruins of villages or cities.” That was my first real clue. I started focusing my search on areas that looked like they used to be settlements but were now abandoned and in ruins.
Exploring the Ruins
- I marked all the ruined areas on my map.
- I made sure to check every corner of these places, even the spots that looked like they wouldn’t have anything.
- I fought off a lot of enemies guarding these ruins. Sometimes it was tough, but it made finding the Gloom Slough even more rewarding.
And guess what? It worked! I started finding Gloom Slough in these ruined areas. It wasn’t a ton, but it was definitely there. It looks kind of like a weird, glowing plant, so it’s easy to spot once you know what you’re looking for. It’s a herb resource, so just walking up to it and pressing the gather button will do.
Regeneration and Farming
The cool thing is that these things regenerate over time. So, once I found a good spot, I could just come back later and get more. It’s a bit of a slow process, but hey, it’s free stuff. No need to spend money or anything. I just had to be patient and keep checking back.
Another thing is that the character Jinhsi will be available on the first phase limited character, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re into collecting characters.
I just wanted to share my experience because I know how frustrating it can be when you’re trying to find something specific in a game, and the information out there isn’t very clear. Hopefully, this will help some of you who are also looking for Gloom Slough. Just remember: ruins are your friend! Happy hunting!
