Alright, guys, let’s talk about this “Shadow of the Erdtree” thing, the new DLC for Elden Ring. It’s huge, right? I jumped in, like I always do, ready to explore every corner. But man, it can get a bit overwhelming. You start feeling like you’re not strong enough, or you’re just plain lost.
So, I figured I’d map out my journey, especially when it comes to the bosses. Turns out, to actually beat this DLC, you only need to knock out five bosses. Five! The main game had, like, ten, so this is a bit more focused. But don’t get me wrong, there are tons of other bosses, like 83 of them. But only a handful are required, I will focus on them. Also I will share the five main areas you’ll hit up: Gravesite Plain, Scadu Altus, Shadow Keep, Ancient Ruins of Rauh, and the Tower of Shadow. Everything else? It’s just extra fun.
Gravesite Plain
First off, I landed in the Gravesite Plain. It’s like the starting line.
- The first boss I encountered was in this area. It wasn’t too crazy, a good warm-up, I used my old tricks, dodged a lot, and got in some good hits.
Scadu Altus
Then I moved on to Scadu Altus.
- The second required boss was hiding somewhere in Scadu Altus. I had to do some serious exploring, up and down, found some cool loot along the way, and finally found this guy. He was tougher, had some new moves, but I figured him out eventually.
Shadow Keep
Next up was the Shadow Keep.
- The third boss is in the Shadow Keep. You can’t miss it, it’s a huge area. This one was a real pain. Took me a bunch of tries. I had to change up my gear, try different strategies, but finally, I got him.
Ancient Ruins of Rauh
The Ancient Ruins of Rauh was next on my list.
- I found the fourth boss in the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. It was a tricky fight, lots of moving parts, but patience is key, right?
Tower of Shadow
Finally, I reached the Tower of Shadow.
- The big bad, the fifth boss, was waiting for me at the top of the Tower of Shadow. It was epic! Super tough, but hey, that’s what we’re here for, right? A lot of trial and error, used every trick I know, and I finally beat the DLC!
So that’s my basic run-through. Defeated those five bosses, and boom, I’m done. Of course, I went back and explored more, found some of those other 78 bosses, but those five are the main ones. Hope this helps you guys out!
