So, I’ve been digging into this whole Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I mean we all want all them skins, right? And the marketplace thing sounds cool. First off, I hopped onto the game’s main screen and poked around the “Operators” section. That’s where you can see all your characters and even customize their outfits with headgear and uniforms. I even tried changing up some weapon skins through the “Loadout” option. It’s pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it.
Now, about the marketplace. It’s supposed to be this place where you can trade skins and stuff, which sounds awesome. I heard from somewhere that the full launch is gonna be in Y9S2. And I think it should go live around June 15th. Cool. I started keeping an eye out for any news.
Then, on January 30th, I saw a post saying the marketplace had dropped. Nice! And guess what? People had already started listing thousands of skins. I was so excited, I immediately jumped in to check it out. But, it’s only the beta. We can only buy a little skins, not all of them. I think we will get all of the skins on around June 15th. I can not wait to see that happen!
I also found out that they added an update to the marketplace on March 12th, exactly 6 weeks after it initially launched. So, I did some quick math, and if they stick to that 6-week schedule, the next update would be around April 23rd. I’m not sure they will release all the skins by then. I will keep my eyes open and see what will happen next.
What I really wanted to know was when we’d get access to all the skins. Apparently, it’s still not totally clear. Some folks are saying it’ll be with the new season’s launch, which is what I’m hoping for. Anyway, I’m gonna keep my eyes peeled and my R6 credits ready. This marketplace could be a game-changer, and I’m here for it.
Oh, and one last thing. I noticed a team bundle that includes a weapon skin for Doc, Rook, and Solis’ P90. Just thought I’d throw that out there in case anyone’s interested. That’s all for now, but I’ll be sure to update you guys if I hear anything new about the marketplace release.
