Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole fantasy football thing. I’m no expert, but I figured I’d share what I’ve been up to. I wanted to dive into this whole NFL fantasy football world and see what the hype is all about.
First thing I did was look up some players. It’s wild how many there are! I was just browsing around, checking out stats and stuff. I found out that there are 80 players who’ve been on both the Bears and the Cowboys. I mean, that’s a lot of players moving around, right?
Then I started thinking about this whole drafting process. It’s like picking teams in gym class, but way more complicated. Apparently, there’s this thing called “ADP,” which stands for Average Draft Position. Seems like it’s a big deal for figuring out who to pick and when. And I discovered that “PPR” means “Point Per Reception.” This indicates that it’s an ESPN standard. I tried to keep that in mind.
- Step 1: I just started looking at all the players, trying to figure out who’s good and who’s not. I mean, it’s a lot to take in. I heard that the 1st overall pick is a big deal, this “CMC” guy or something.
- Step 2: Then I started thinking about who I’d want on my team. There’s this guy Waller, he seems pretty good. And then for my third pick, I’d probably go for Mixon or Thomas. I don’t know, they just sound like good players.
- Step 3: I tried to find a tight end, I think that’s what they’re called. I saw this guy, Cole Kmet, from the Chicago Bears. Seemed like a decent choice.
- Step 4: I realized I needed to learn more about this whole ESPN BET Sportsbook thing. It sounds like it’s a way to bet on games, but I’m not really into that yet.
- Step 5: I figured I’d just keep watching games and learning more. I saw that there are some games on Thanksgiving, like Lions vs. Bears and Cowboys vs. Giants. Maybe I’ll check those out.
My Fantasy Football Draft Plan
So yeah, that’s basically what I’ve been up to. It’s a lot to learn, but it’s kinda fun. I’m still not sure I totally get it, but I’m trying! I just wanted to put my process out there in case anyone else is trying to figure this stuff out too. We can learn together!
