Okay, so I’ve been meaning to share this for a while now. I finally got around to checking out the Preston North End shop. You know, the football club? I’m not the biggest football fanatic, but I appreciate a good team, and I’ve heard some good things about their merch.
So, first things first, I had to find the place. It wasn’t too hard, actually. I just looked it up, and it turns out they have stuff available in some sports stores, but also their own official shop. I decided to go for the full experience and checked out both options.
The Big Sports Store
First I went to a big sports store. You know, the typical ones.
- Finding the stuff: Not gonna lie, it took me a bit to find the Preston North End section. It wasn’t huge, but they had the basics.
- What they had: Mostly jerseys, you know, the current season ones. They also had some scarves and a few other bits and bobs. Nothing too crazy.
- The vibe: It was alright. Just your standard sports store experience. Nothing special, but I got to see the stuff in person, which is always good.
The Official Shop
After that, I hopped over to the team’s official online shop. This was a whole different ball game.
- First impressions: Way more options! They had everything from the latest jerseys to some cool retro stuff.
- Diving deeper: I spent a good chunk of time browsing. They had shirts from the 50s, which is pretty awesome if you’re into that vintage vibe.
- The details: They even tell you the team colors, which is good if you are into that thing. I learned the team colors are blue, light blue and white. They even give the color codes.
- What I ended up getting: I grabbed a classic home jersey and a vintage-looking scarf. I’m a sucker for that old-school look.
Overall, it was a fun little adventure. If you’re a die-hard Preston North End fan, you probably already know all this. But if you’re just curious or looking for some unique football gear, I definitely recommend checking out their official shop. You might be surprised at what you find! I mean, they even offer free delivery in the UK for orders over 50. That’s a good deal.
Anyway, that’s my little story about exploring the Preston North End shop. Hope you found it somewhat interesting! I also saw that they have new shirts coming soon, for the 2024-25 season. Might have to make another visit when those drop!
