Alright, so I was on a mission today, a mission to find that perfect Anthony Davis jersey, you know, the one from his New Orleans Pelicans days. I’m a huge fan, and having that jersey has been on my list forever.

First, I hit up Kohl’s. I remembered seeing a bunch of NBA stuff there before. I walked in, headed straight for the sports section, and started browsing. They had a decent selection, but nothing that really caught my eye. I mean, I’m looking for that authentic game-day feel, you know? Lots of shorts, though. I did see a sign for free shipping, which is always a plus, but I really wanted to try it on then and there.
- Checked out Kohl’s sports section.
- Saw lots of NBA shorts.
- Noticed free shipping offer.
Next, I figured I’d try my luck online. * popped into my head – not for tickets, but sometimes they have merchandise, right? I typed in “New Orleans Pelicans New Orleans” and… nothing relevant, really. Mostly just concert and game tickets. Bummer.
- Searched on *.
- Found mostly concert and game tickets.
Then I got thinking about souvenirs in general. I recalled a conversation about someone visiting New Orleans on 2/19 and asking about unique souvenirs. Maybe there’s a local shop down there that would have what I’m looking for? That got me thinking about a trip to New Orleans itself.
- Thought about unique New Orleans souvenirs.
- Considered a possible trip to New Orleans.
I also stumbled upon this website, *, while looking up “New Orleans Pelicans.” It showed me some common shorthand for the team, which was kind of interesting, but not really what I was after.
- Found some New Orleans Pelicans abbreviations.
My search then took a weird turn. I ended up reading about venues at a place called Audubon, like the Newman Bandstand and the Oak Grove. Apparently, you can book them years in advance if you also book the Clubhouse. Totally unrelated to jerseys, but hey, you never know where the internet will take you.
- Read about event venues at Audubon.
Finally, I landed on the official NBA site. There’s this thing called Pelicans+ where you can access games through the NBA App. I read a bit about the team’s history, how they were originally the New Orleans Hornets back in 2002. That was a nice little history lesson.
- Explored the official NBA website.
- Learned about the Pelicans+ subscription.
- Read about the team’s history.
So, yeah, my quest for the Anthony Davis Pelicans jersey is still ongoing. I didn’t find it today, but I learned a few things along the way, and I think my next move might be to actually plan a trip to New Orleans. Maybe I’ll find that jersey and a whole lot more. Who knows!
My Conclusion
After a few hours I didn’t get what I want, so I think I will keep searching online, or maybe I can buy it when I travel to New Orleans next time.
