Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole Cincinnati Bengals emblem thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. You know, I wanted to make something cool, something that really captured the spirit of the team. So, I started digging into the team’s history, going way back to when they first started in 1968.
First thing I did was look at their old logos. It’s pretty interesting how they’ve changed over time. You see, back in the day, the logo was actually a picture of a running bengal tiger, but I decided to start with something a little simpler for this project. I focused on the more recent stuff, which is way less complicated.
Finding the Starting Point
I found out that the team’s current main logo is basically just a big, bold “B.” It’s in this kind of blocky, serif font, you know? And the best part, it’s got those classic orange and black tiger stripes. I thought, “Alright, that’s a good starting point.”
Adding the Details
Then I started playing around with the stripes. Getting them to look right was a bit tricky. I wanted them to be, like, instantly recognizable as Bengals stripes, but also, you know, look good. I messed with the thickness, the spacing, how many stripes to use, all that good stuff.
- Experimented with stripe thickness.
- Adjusted spacing between stripes.
- Tried different numbers of stripes.
Also I learned that the team was named “Bengals” to connect with the city’s football history. There was another Bengals team in Cincinnati way back, and the city zoo even had a rare white Bengal tiger! Cool, huh? It’s like they really wanted to capture the city’s vibe with the team’s name.
After a bunch of trial and error, I finally got the “B” and the stripes looking how I wanted. I think I did a pretty good job of capturing the team’s energy. It’s bold, it’s fierce, it’s got those iconic tiger stripes – it’s definitely a Bengals emblem!
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Cincinnati Bengals emblem. It was fun, it was a bit of a challenge, but in the end, I think I created something pretty cool. What do you guys think?
