So I jumped on my laptop and started searching.
First, I hit up the official WWE shop, cause, you know, that’s the most obvious place to look. I browsed through their Men’s section, found some John Cena stuff, but no black shorts. There were shirts, other kinds of merch, but not what I was looking for. Bummer. They had a pullover sweatshirt though. It looked pretty cool but I passed.
Next, I tried some general online stores. Typed in “John Cena black shorts” and scrolled through the results. There were some similar-looking shorts, but nothing that screamed “John Cena.” I wanted the real deal, the ones with the WWE authenticity. I found some retro shorts. I don’t know why they were calling them retro. The pictures were too small to see any detail. I didn’t spend too much time looking at them.
Then I remembered seeing a tag somewhere that said “Beware of the Dog” shorts. So I searched for that. Bingo! I found a pair that looked exactly like the ones Cena wore. They had that cool “Beware of the Dog” detail, which made them stand out. It was on some website for fans.

Not only that, but they were also on sale. It was like the universe was finally on my side. I wasted no time, added them to my cart, and checked out. The shorts were made by a company called Ripple Junction and I guess they teamed up with WWE to make them.
