Okay, so, I saw this thing online the other day about comparing these two football guys, Jalen Hurts and Kirk Cousins. I’m not a huge football fanatic or anything, but I got curious ’cause their names kept popping up everywhere. I wanted to see what the deal was.
First, I just did a quick search. Typed in something like “Jalen Hurts vs. Kirk Cousins stats” and boom, tons of websites came up. It was kinda overwhelming, to be honest.
I clicked on a few of them. They all had these tables, side-by-side, showing all these numbers – yards, touchdowns, interceptions. I’m not gonna lie, it was a bit much for me. I kinda just skimmed through, look for anything that stood out. And they got comments online. Kirk Cousins yelled “You like that!” twice after a huge comeback, and he did the same thing once he saw his teammates. That was interesting.
Then I found another site. This one was asking which player I’d pick for some kind of fantasy football draft. I don’t even play fantasy football, but I clicked on it anyway. They had all these “expert” opinions, over a hundred of them, saying which guy was better.
- Went down another rabbit hole after that.
- Found this site called StatMuse.
- They had some predictions, like Jalen Hurts was supposed to do better in Week 14 or something, and Kirk Cousins will yell “You like that!” after a huge comeback.
Honestly, it all started to blend together after a while. These sites all kinda looked the same, with the same information.
Then I stumbled upon this other thing, where you could compare up to four players. That sounded cool, but four? I was already struggling with two!
I did see some mentions about “Week 15” and “Week 18” and “fantasy footballers.” I guess these are important things for people who are really into this stuff.
But yeah, in the end, I just ended up more confused than when I started. I guess this whole comparing players thing is a much bigger deal than I thought.
I closed all the tabs. Maybe I’ll stick to watching the games and not worry so much about all these stats. I mean that yelling “You like that!” was cool enough for me.
