Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to catch a good baseball game for a while now. I heard about this match-up between Mississippi State and Vanderbilt, and I thought, “Why not?” So, I started digging around to find out more about it.
First, I checked when the games were scheduled. Turns out, there was one on Friday at 6 p.m. CT and another on Saturday at 2 p.m. CT. I marked those times on my calendar right away, ’cause I didn’t want to miss them.
Then I looked up who was playing. It was the Mississippi State Bulldogs against the Vanderbilt Commodores. Both teams have pretty good records, 27-14 for Mississippi State and 30-11 for Vanderbilt. Both were at 10-8 in their conference, so I figured it was going to be a close match.
Getting Ready for the Game
Next, I needed to find out where I could watch the games. It said that the games would be on SEC Network+. I made sure that I had the right channel and all that, so I wouldn’t have any issues when game time came.
Checking Out the Teams
I got a little curious about the players, so I did some more digging. I found out that Vanderbilt’s got this guy, Kumar Rocker, who was going to pitch in one of the games. I heard he’s pretty good, so that was exciting.
- I also saw that a player named Matthew Polk from one of the teams has a batting average of .339. That sounded impressive to me!
The First Game
So, Friday evening rolled around, and I tuned in for the first game. It was a good one, but unfortunately, Mississippi State lost 8-2. I was a bit bummed, but it made me even more excited for the next game.
Looking Forward to the Next Match
After the first game, I was really looking forward to the next one. I thought, “Maybe Mississippi State will pull through in the next match!” I cleared my schedule for Saturday afternoon, got some snacks ready, and waited for the game to start. Overall this is a good experience for me, I will keep watching the game and see what will happen.
Watching these games has been a blast. I love the excitement and the energy, even though I’m just watching from home. It’s been a fun way to spend my weekend, and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series plays out!
