Okay, so today I was kinda curious about this boxer, Bektemir Melikuziev. You know, where he’s from and all that stuff. So I started digging around.

I found his full name, Bektemir Rozmatjon Ogli Meliqoziyev. Pretty cool, right? It also said he was born on April 13, 1996. Which I thought was interesting to know.

Then I found out he’s an Uzbek professional boxer. Uzbekistan, huh? That’s somewhere I haven’t been yet.

Dug a little deeper and saw he won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics as a middleweight. Man, that’s a big deal! I read about some of his matches, like when he defeated Daniel Lewis from Australia and Vikas Krishan Yadav from India. That got me all pumped up reading about his fights.

I learned he started his professional career in June 2019. His first fight was against an Argentinian guy, Martin Fidel Rios. And guess what? He knocked him out! Started with a bang, I’d say.
