So, I got interested in this whole Mel Reid thing. You know, the golfer? Yeah, that’s the one. I started digging into her story and it got pretty interesting, so I figured I’d share what I found.
First, I tried to get a basic idea of who she is. Turns out, she’s a professional golfer on the LPGA Tour. Pretty cool, right? Then I learned she was born in Derby, England. That’s like, in the middle of the country. I found out she even won some amateur events, like the English Girls’ Championship a couple of times, and the Helen Holm Trophy. She’s clearly got skills.
Next, I wanted to know what she’s been up to lately. I saw that she just had a baby! His name is Kai William Reid, and she had him with her wife, Carly. It seems like the baby is even traveling with her while she plays. I guess that’s one way to start ’em young, haha.
I also saw somewhere that Mel is a “Manager of Digital Content” and used to be a “freelance content creator”. That’s interesting, I wouldn’t have guessed it from a professional athlete. It’s cool to know she has other stuff going on besides golf.
Then, I stumbled on some stuff about her being a part of Pride Month. I didn’t dig too deep into that, but it seems like she and her wife are pretty open about their relationship, which is awesome.
Finally, I read a comment from someone who is the Men’s Captain at some golf club. He said Mel and her wife looked really happy together and that he was proud of their involvement in Pride Month. Good for them! It’s always great to see people being themselves and supporting each other.
So, yeah, that’s basically what I found out about Mel Reid. It was a fun little research project. She seems like a cool person with a lot going on in her life. She’s a pro golfer, a new mom, and apparently, she’s into digital content. Plus, she seems to be all about living her truth. I think that’s pretty inspiring, don’t you?
