Alright, so, I’ve been messing around with golf lately, specifically trying to see if I could hold a candle to my grandpa’s scores. Yeah, that grandpa – Donald Trump. He’s got like a bunch of golf courses, something like 17 of them around the world. And me? I’m just Kai, his granddaughter, but hey, I’ve got a couple of wins under my belt, so I figured, why not?
So, first off, I started hitting up the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. It’s one of his, you know? I made a little vlog about it, just for fun. It was kind of nerve-wracking, honestly. I mean, this is my grandpa’s course, and the guy’s pretty much a legend in the golf world. Everyone’s always talking about those PGA and LPGA events on his courses. Big shoes to fill, right?
I went in trying to stay chill. Like, “Okay, Kai, just play your game.” I even did a video where I got a birdie, which felt pretty awesome. Posted that one on TikTok. Felt good to show that I could at least do something right on his new course.
- First Round:
- Teeing off, my hands were a bit shaky.
- Got into a rhythm by the third hole.
- Managed to avoid the bunkers, which was a plus.
- Mid-Game:
- My caddy was giving me some solid advice.
- Started feeling more confident with my swings.
- Even chatted a bit with some folks who recognized me, which was weird but cool.
- Final Stretch:
- Pressure was on, ngl.
- Nailed that birdie, which was the highlight, obviously.
- Ended up with a decent score, but not quite up to grandpa’s level… yet.
Then, there was this time I got to ask some questions to Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler. Big-time PGA stars, right? It was surreal, standing there with my mic, trying to come up with some smart questions. I felt way out of my league, but it was a blast.
Honestly, the whole experience has been a wild ride. It’s not every day you get to traipse around your grandpa’s golf courses, trying to beat his scores, or chat up golf pros. It’s been fun, a bit stressful, but mostly fun.
So, that’s my little golfing adventure for you. I’m just a 17-year-old, trying to make my mark, one swing at a time. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll actually beat grandpa’s score. Until then, I’ll just keep practicing and making my little videos. It’s all good fun, right?
What’s Next?
Keep swinging, keep practicing, and maybe take on another one of grandpa’s courses. It’s a big world out there, and I’ve got a lot of golf to play. Stay tuned, I guess!
