But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. Some clues were trickier. For example, one clue was “Exciting event (2 words).” The tool gave me a list, but I had to figure out that it required two words, not just one. Sometimes it mentioned (2 words) or (hyphenated) but many times I had to guess.

Scratching Letters
Then, I found this other part of the game where you scratch boxes to reveal letters. It was like a lottery ticket! I scratched the “YOUR 18 LETTERS” box and got 18 random letters. Then I scratched the “BONUS” box and got 2 more letters. These letters were supposed to help me fill in the puzzle.
It was kind of fun, but also a bit confusing. I had to match the letters I revealed to the empty spaces in the crossword. It took some time, but I managed to fill in a few more words this way.
Wrapping Up
By the end of the day, I had made a decent amount of progress on my crossword. I wouldn’t say I solved the whole thing, but I definitely got a lot further than I would have on my own.
