Today, I wanna talk about somethin’ I’ve been messin’ around with lately: LaMelo Ball cards. Yeah, those basketball cards, the ones that might make ya some cash if you’re lucky. I started lookin’ into these cards ’cause I heard some chatter ’bout how they might be worth somethin’, and bein’ the curious guy I am, I had to see for myself.
First thing I did was hit up eBay. That place is like a goldmine for this kinda stuff. I typed in “LaMelo Ball rookie card” and bam, a whole bunch of ’em popped up. Prices were all over the place, from like a buck for a 2020 Hoops card to over 700 bucks for some fancy 2020 Panini Prizm thingy. It was crazy!
So, I started diggin’ deeper. I found out there’s a whole world of these cards, different brands, different designs, some signed, some not. And apparently, some folks are sayin’ that these LaMelo cards might be a good investment, especially compared to other young players’ cards. I ain’t no financial advisor, but that got me thinkin’.
I ended up buyin’ a few cards, nothin’ too expensive, just to see what the fuss was about. I got a couple of those Hoops ones ’cause they were cheap, and then I splurged a little on a nicer lookin’ one from Panini Prizm. I figured, why not, right? It’s like a little gamble.
- First move: Checked out eBay.
- Saw a bunch of cards: Prices ranged from $0.75 to over $700.
- Got curious: Heard these cards might be a good investment.
- Bought some cards: A few cheap ones and one a bit pricier.
Now, I’m just waitin’ for ’em to arrive. I’ll let y’all know how they look in person. Maybe I’ll even try to sell ’em later on and see if I can make a few bucks. Who knows, maybe I’ll get lucky, and this little experiment will pay off. Or maybe it won’t. But hey, that’s half the fun, right?
What’s next?
Once I get my hands on these cards, I’m gonna take some pics and share ’em with y’all. I’m also gonna keep an eye on the market, see how the prices fluctuate, and maybe, just maybe, I’ll become a LaMelo Ball card expert. Or not. We’ll see. Stay tuned, folks!
