Okay, guys, let’s talk about what I did today with this Lauren Gould stuff.
So, this morning, I started digging into this name, Lauren Gould. First thing I noticed was that she’s been working at this place called The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, or RMG for short. Turns out, she’s the big boss there, the CEO! But guess what? She’s decided to leave her job in February 2025. Can you believe it? Five years there, and she joined right when the whole world went into lockdown, on March 16, 2020. What a time to start a new gig!
I kept digging around, and it turns out Lauren’s not just a gallery CEO. She’s also a professor, an Assistant Professor in Conflict Studies, to be exact. And get this, she’s leading this project called the Intimacies of Remote Warfare program, or IRW. Sounds intense, right?
Delving Deeper
From what I gathered, she’s into looking at things from all angles, like, she combines different fields of study to get the full picture. I guess you’d call that interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary. Fancy words, huh?
Anyway, I found out that her research is all about how the US does things, you know, military-wise. I saw some names popping up with hers, like Hoijtink, Jaarsma, and Davies. They must be her colleagues or something. Looks like they’ve been working on some papers together. I scanned through a few, but honestly, they were a bit too academic for my taste.
Wrapping Up
- Checked Lauren Gould’s background.
- Discovered her role at RMG and her planned departure.
- Explored her academic side and the IRW project.
- Noted her interdisciplinary approach.
- Identified some collaborators from her research work.
So, that’s pretty much what I did with the Lauren Gould thing today. It was a bit of a mixed bag, some art gallery stuff, some heavy-duty research. I just followed the trail of information, piece by piece. It’s like putting together a puzzle, you know? You start with one piece, and before you know it, you’ve got the whole picture. Well, kind of. That’s it!
