Okay, so, today I wanna talk about this Aram Cup League thing I got myself into. It all started when I was just scrolling through my usual gaming forums, you know, the ones where everyone shares their epic wins and epic fails. I stumbled upon this thread where people were talking about forming teams for some ARAM tournament.
Now, I’ve always been more of a casual player. I enjoy a good ARAM match, it’s quick, it’s fun, and you don’t have to stress too much about picking the “right” champion. So, the idea of an ARAM tournament got me curious. I mean, who wouldn’t want to join some randoms for some fun and maybe a bit of glory?
I saw a post from this guy looking for teammates. He seemed chill enough, said he was on the EUNE server, just like me, and wanted to find some folks to play with. I thought, “Why not?” and sent him a message. Next thing I know, I’m in a group chat with four other strangers, all ready to dive into this ARAM Cup thing.
We started by playing a few practice matches. It was a bit of a mess at first. Everyone has their own playstyle, and let me tell you, ARAM is a whole different beast when you’re trying to coordinate with a team. But we got to know each other, figured out who’s good with what, and started to click. We even come up with a cool team name. We are calling ourselves “The Howling Abyss Dwellers,” which sounds pretty cool.
- First, I found the group from the forum.
- Then, we chatted a bit and decided to form a team.
- We practiced, practiced, and practiced.
- We are now ready for this ARAM Cup.
Signing up was a bit of a process. We had to make sure our team name wasn’t anything offensive and I’m pretty sure our captain used a legit email, haha. Apparently, you need to be at least level 30 to join these things, and there’s some SMS verification stuff, too. But I heard you don’t have to play any ranked games, so that’s a plus for someone like me who’s not into the whole ranked scene.
The tournament itself is spread over two days. We have our first match tomorrow night. I’m a little nervous, not gonna lie. But I’m also excited. It’s been a blast getting to know these guys and playing together. And who knows, maybe we’ll even win a few matches? Either way, I’m in it for the fun and the experience.
What I Learned
Honestly, this whole thing has taught me a lot about teamwork and adapting. There are so many ways to play ARAM, and you really have to be flexible when you’re on a team. It’s not just about your own skills anymore; it’s about how you work together. It is all for fun and meeting some new people. I’ll keep you guys updated on how the tournament goes. Wish us luck!
