Okay, so today I wanna talk about this thing called Jeff Rhodes TPG. I’ve been hearing about it everywhere, and I finally decided to give it a go and see what it’s all about.
First off, I started by doing some basic searching. Just trying to get a feel for what TPG even is. Turns out, TPG is this big private equity firm. And from the news, it’s going public on Nasdaq on January 12th! I saw that they’re gonna use the ticker symbol ‘TPG’ when they start trading. How cool is that?
Then, I dug a little deeper. I found out that they plan to offer like, 28.3 million shares, and they’re pricing them at $29.50 each. It said somewhere they’re aiming for a valuation of up to $9.5 billion. That’s a lot of money!
My dive into the stock market
- I figured, why not try buying some shares? It sounded like a big deal, and I didn’t wanna miss out.
- So, I set up a brokerage account. It was a bit of a hassle with all the forms and stuff, but I got through it.
- On January 12th, I logged in bright and early, all excited to get my hands on some TPG stock.
- Bought a few shares, just to get my feet wet, you know? Didn’t wanna go all in without knowing what I was doing.
After that, I started following the stock price like a hawk. I was checking my phone every few minutes. It was kinda thrilling, seeing the price go up and down.
I also joined some online forums and chats where people were talking about TPG. Some were super optimistic, others not so much. I just listened and tried to learn as much as I could.
It’s been a few weeks now, and I’m still holding onto my shares. The price has been a bit of a roller coaster, but I’m in it for the long haul. I figure, I’ll just keep an eye on things and see where it goes. This whole stock market thing is way more exciting than I thought it would be!
I will continue to learn and share my journey in this whole TPG thing. It’s been a wild ride so far, and I’m excited to see what happens next. By the way, I found an article about how AI impacts project management from the Association for Project Management, which is pretty interesting. I’ll probably dive into that next and share my thoughts. Stay tuned!
