So, I tried this thing called “Brooklyn Belles” the other day. I bumped into it online, saw some people talking about it, and I was like, “Why not?”
First, I checked out this Facebook page called “Brooklyn Belles New”. I poked around to see who else was into this thing. You know, just wanted to see what kind of people were interested. I gotta say, I found a whole bunch of folks on there talking about it, sharing stuff, the whole nine yards. You know how Facebook is, everyone and their mother is on there, sharing every little thing.
Then, I found something about this girl, Karissa. Turns out, her real name is Karissa Rivera. I didn’t dig too deep on this, because that’s not really my thing. I guess this Karissa person is somehow mixed up with the Brooklyn Belles thing.
I also saw something about events and organizations. I guess people get together and do things related to this “Brooklyn Belles”. There were different ways to sort through it, like by where it was happening, when it happened, who liked it, and even when it was last talked about. It was a bit much, so I didn’t spend too much time there.
There was also something about a “backstage challenge” from someone called Paige, and something called “The IIconics” didn’t seem to care too much about it. To be honest, I didn’t really get what that was all about, so I just moved on.
After all that, I gotta say, I’m kind of a fan now. It’s not something I’d shout from the rooftops about, but it’s definitely interesting. I found myself going back to that Facebook group a few times, just to see what was up. It was kinda interesting, but it was also a little overwhelming, you know? There’s a whole world of stuff out there, and this is just one little piece of it.
