Okay, so, I went to this WWE Supershow thing in Johnson City, TN. It was on November 11th, 2023. Honestly, I grabbed a ticket because why not? Seemed like a fun Saturday night plan. The place is called Freedom Hall Civic Center, a pretty standard spot for these kinds of events.
I got there and the place was buzzing, you know? I heard somewhere that they sold about 4 tickets, which seems like a decent crowd. It wasn’t like those huge televised events, but that’s kind of cool. You get to see these wrestlers up close, without all the TV drama.
So, the show kicked off at 7:30 PM. They had this lineup of wrestlers from both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. I was pretty stoked to see some of my favorites, like Cody Rhodes, “The American Nightmare,” and Seth “Freakin” Rollins, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Then there was Rhea Ripley, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, and a bunch of others.
- First up, I saw Cody Rhodes in action. Man, that guy can work a crowd! His match was energetic, and the fans were totally into it. Classic Cody, doing his thing.
- Then, Seth Rollins had a match. This dude’s charisma is off the charts. He was up against a tough opponent, but he pulled it off with his usual flair.
- Rhea Ripley, the Women’s World Champion, she was something else. Tough as nails and totally owned the ring. Her match was one of the highlights for me.
- Drew McIntyre also had a pretty sick match. This guy is a powerhouse, and you could feel the impact of every move.
- Becky Lynch, “The Man” herself, was there too. Her match was awesome. She’s got this way of connecting with the audience that’s just amazing.
- “The Ring General” GUNTHER was intense. His style is so unique, really technical and hard-hitting.
- The New Day brought their usual energy. Their match was fun, lots of high-flying and teamwork.
There was also LA Knight, Bobby Lashley, Carlito, and Charlotte Flair. Each of them had their moment, and the matches were all pretty solid. It felt like a good mix of styles and personalities.
The whole thing lasted for about 2.5 to 3 hours, I think. It’s kind of a blur, but I remember leaving the place feeling pretty pumped. It’s cool to see these guys live, doing what they do best.
My Final Thought
All in all, it was a pretty cool experience. If you’re into wrestling, these non-televised shows are worth checking out. You get a different vibe than the big TV events, more intimate. Plus, you never know what’s gonna happen. Johnson City’s WWE Supershow was a blast, and I’m glad I went.
