Hey guys, I’m back! I’ve been meaning to share this with you all, it’s about the Auburn vs. Cal game. I’m a huge football fan, and I really wanted to catch this game live. But guess what? I don’t have cable. Yeah, I know, living in the stone age, right? So, I had to figure out how to stream it.
First, I searched up some info. Turns out, the game was on the SEC Network. The kickoff was at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 2 for the first time, and 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 9. I was all set and excited until I remembered I had to work around my no-cable situation.
I started to look for streaming options. I came across something called Fubo. Apparently, it’s a streaming service that carries the ESPN family of networks, and the SEC Network is part of that. And the best part? They had a free trial for new subscribers! Score!
So, I signed up for the Fubo free trial. Easy peasy. Then I found the game in their schedule. The commentators were going to be Taylor Zarzour doing play-by-play and Matt Stinchcomb as the analyst. Sounded good to me.
- Sign up for Fubo – check.
- Find the game – check.
- Wait for game time – the hardest part!
Finally, game day arrived. I settled into my couch, fired up Fubo on my TV, and there it was, the Auburn vs. Cal game, live and in HD. No cable needed! The game was awesome, by the way. Even though it was a bit of a hassle to figure out the streaming stuff at first, it was totally worth it in the end.
So, if any of you guys are in the same boat, no cable, and you want to watch live sports, Fubo is one way to go. They have a free trial, so you can test it out without spending any money. Just remember to cancel it if you don’t want to continue, or you’ll get charged. And there might be some regional restrictions, so keep that in mind.
That’s my little adventure in the world of streaming sports. Hope this helps someone out there!
