Today, I want to talk about my experience with this thing called . I first got wind of it when I saw some news about a basketball player, Last-Tear Poa, from Louisiana State University. She’s a senior guard and apparently pretty good. I think she’s from Australia, I read something about her being from Melbourne. She had a rough time recently, got a concussion during a game against Ole Miss. They said she fell and hit her head real bad. Poor girl. I hope she is doing good now.
So, I started looking into this “Poa” thing, and it turns out it’s related to LSU in a few ways. I mean besides the basketball player, I saw something about “Poa LSU turf,” whatever that means. I guess it’s some kind of grass they use on the sports fields? The internet was saying something about it being good for the environment and easy to take care of. That’s cool, I guess.
The main thing about “Poa”
It seems like the main thing about “Poa” at LSU is this “Proof of Attendance” thing. Apparently, it’s a big deal for students who are trying to get financial aid. I guess it’s like a form or something that shows you’re actually going to the classes you signed up for. From what I gathered, it helps the school make sure they’re giving money to the right people.
So, I dug around a bit more and found out that this Poa thing isn’t just for financial aid. There’s also this Pre-Optometry Association at LSU, and they use “Poa” too. It’s probably to keep track of their members or something, I’m not entirely sure. There’s a whole bunch of optometry stuff connected to LSU, which I didn’t even know about before.
But back to the financial aid part. I read that for students, getting this Proof of Attendance sorted out is super important. It’s like a key step in getting the money they need to pay for school. I didn’t go to college in the US, so all this financial aid stuff is new to me. But I can see why it’s a big deal for the students. I think I will try to search for more information about the Student financial aid in the United States later.
There is another thing I found

I think she was even thinking about suing the USCIS over it. That sounds like a mess. I hope she got that figured out.
